Interviews.chat vs LockedIn AI: Which AI Interview Assistant Plan Fits?

How each one meters your time, what LockedIn AI's rotating offers looked like on two checks, and what each refunds, from both vendors' own pages.

Interviews.chat vs LockedIn AI is mostly a price-against-reach decision. Interviews.chat is the cheaper AI interview assistant, at $19 a month for 1,000 one-minute credits or $29 a month for unlimited use, while LockedIn AI's Unlimited General plan was $54.99 a month (or $39.99 a month billed every 3 months) on October 22, 2026, and LockedIn runs on more devices, including iPhone and Android apps.

We make CoPilot Interview, a competing product, and cover it briefly at the end. Every Interviews.chat and LockedIn AI fact below comes from the vendors' own pricing pages, FAQs, support docs, terms and refund policies, checked between October 14 and 22, 2026, in USD as shown to a US visitor. We didn't buy either plan, and we left out the user counts both sites display. This page is part of our 2026 report on AI interview assistants.

How do credits and plans work on each?

Interviews.chat

From the Interviews.chat pricing page:

Its terms say subscription credits refresh each billing cycle and don't roll over. There's no annual plan.

LockedIn AI

LockedIn shows each paid plan on its pricing page next to a struck-through "standard" price about twice as high:

LockedIn also sells an Unlimited Professional tier that adds LockedIn Duo, which it describes as remote interview assist, and a Lifetime plan. Its FAQ says plans bought inside the iOS and Android apps cost more than on the web.

Per hour, metered: Interviews.chat Starter works out to about $1.14 an hour if every credit is a minute; LockedIn's monthly Credits plan is about $10.50 an hour (400 minutes for $69.99). Unlimited: $29 a month against $54.99.

LockedIn AI's rotating offers: what we saw on two checks

LockedIn changes its offers often, so we loaded its pricing page twice in separate browser sessions and recorded what each showed for Unlimited General.

The two checks matched, and both showed the same Credits prices: $69.99 a month for 400 copilot minutes, or $49.99 a month billed every 3 months for 20 copilot hours. We couldn't confirm whether the banner's promo code lowers the price further.

Earlier this month the page showed other offers. On October 17, our LockedIn AI vs Beyz AI comparison recorded a "60% off" promotion that applied to the first payment only, with the regular $109.98 a month after that. Our LockedIn AI pricing breakdown lists every plan. Check the total at checkout, not the banner.

What features does each AI interview assistant offer?

Interviews.chat listens to the call, transcribes it and suggests answers, often as two responses to choose from, in formats such as STAR or bullet points. Its FAQ says the web version needs no install and works with Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other meeting apps; an optional Chrome extension and a Copilot desktop app cover desktop meeting software, and for phone interviews it suggests opening the web version on a second device. You can switch between AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others. The plan page also lists AI mock interviews with feedback, a tailored-résumé tool, cover letters and post-interview insights. See our Interviews.chat review.

LockedIn AI runs on more kinds of device than Interviews.chat: desktop apps for Windows 10+ and macOS 13.1+, a web app in Chrome, Edge, Opera or Brave, and iOS and Android apps. Its pricing page lists models from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), DeepSeek and others, unlimited document uploads, summaries and reports, and sessions of up to 2 hours (mock interviews up to 60 minutes, per its support docs). The call apps it names include Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Skype. See our LockedIn AI review.

Refunds and cancellation

Interviews.chat: cancel any time with the Manage Subscription button on the Account page, and you keep access to the end of the billing period. Its terms (effective July 16, 2026) say subscriptions renew automatically and fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, for a product that wasn't delivered or for a duplicate purchase. The terms name Interviews Chat LLC, a Wyoming company, and note that until December 31, 2026 some renewals may be billed through its previous operating entity in Poland, so an unfamiliar descriptor may still be genuine.

LockedIn AI: its refund policy (last updated October 14, 2026) makes monthly and quarterly plans non-refundable once started, allows a partial refund on annual plans within 7 days of purchase, and a full Lifetime refund within 7 days only if you haven't started a session. App Store purchases follow Apple's process. To cancel a web purchase, use the web app's Billing & Plans page, not the desktop app; our guide to canceling LockedIn AI has the steps.

Tip: Treat the first payment on either tool as final. Use the free allowance to test audio capture and answer speed on your own computer and call app before you pay.

Which should you choose?

Where CoPilot Interview fits

Best choice: CoPilot Interview, if you want a free plan that renews every day, scored practice and a refund window on monthly plans. Disclosure: we make CoPilot Interview, so read our verdict with that in mind.

CoPilot Interview's AI interview assistant is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+ that runs beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. It shows live captions of the question, then a structured answer in about 2 seconds after the question ends, and Dual AI Mode puts two models' answers side by side. Two months of Standard cost $29.98, and Pro removes the daily limit at $29.99 a month; see all plans. Honest limits: no phone app yet (the Android companion is a beta outside Google Play), no browser version of live help, no human coach, and Interviews.chat's quarterly unlimited plan costs less per month than our Pro.

Practice it first

Run a Mock Interview built from your résumé and the job description: each question is read aloud and each spoken answer is scored out of 10 with what to fix and a model answer, then you get a report card. Follow the rules of the employer or platform you're interviewing with — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan. Comparing more tools? Practice every day without counting credits

CoPilot Interview's free plan gives you 15 minutes every day, with a Mock Interview that scores each spoken answer out of 10. No card and no account to start.
