LockedIn AI Pricing: Unlimited, Credits and Lifetime Plans Explained (October 2026)

What every LockedIn AI plan costs, what the free plan really covers, how refunds and cancellation work and what it adds up to per interview.

LockedIn AI pricing, as of October 2026, starts with a free plan of 5-minute sessions, up to 60 minutes a day. Paid plans are Unlimited General at $54.99 a month (or $39.99 a month billed every 3 months), Unlimited Professional at $119.99 a month (or $79.99 a month billed every 3 months), Credits plans at $69.99 a month for 400 copilot minutes (or $49.99 a month billed every 3 months for 20 hours), and Lifetime Pro at $999.50 as a one-time payment.

Every paid price on LockedIn's pricing page sits next to a struck-through "standard" price roughly twice as high, so the discount framing is part of how it sells. This guide uses the prices actually shown, taken from LockedIn AI's pricing page, support center and refund policy, all checked on October 14, 2026, in USD as shown to a US visitor on the web. Prices inside its iPhone and Android apps are higher, as explained below.

The page also advertises a promo code in a banner; we couldn't confirm whether it lowers the prices above any further, so compare the total at checkout. Current figures are on LockedIn AI's pricing page.

What the LockedIn AI free plan includes

LockedIn's support center describes the free plan precisely:

The free plan is good for checking setup and how fast answers arrive. It doesn't fit a full interview: a 45-minute round would be nine separate 5-minute sessions with a pause between each.

Unlimited vs Credits vs Lifetime: which LockedIn plan fits

General or Professional

LockedIn's help center says that for ordinary copilot use, General and Professional are identical. Professional adds LockedIn Duo and one other paid-only feature, and its 3-month version adds early access to beta features. If you want the copilot and mock interviews only, General costs less than half as much.

How credits are counted

One credit equals 2 minutes of copilot time, so a minute costs 0.5 credit. Time is charged while the session runs, so ending early doesn't cost you the minutes you didn't use, and mock interviews run at half rate. LockedIn says credits never expire and survive a subscription ending, but afterwards they only work with its general AI models. If you're on a Credits plan, you can buy extra one-time Copilot Time Packages from your credits page; their prices aren't shown on the public pricing page.

To put the allowances in hours: the monthly Credits plan's 400 minutes is about 6.7 hours of copilot time, and the 3-month plan's 20 hours works out to about 6.7 hours a month as well, for $20 a month less.

Session length limits

Every plan has a per-session ceiling, separate from your balance. Paid plans, including Unlimited, allow 120 minutes for most session types and 60 minutes for mock interviews. That's long enough for almost any single interview round.

Lifetime Pro

At $999.50, Lifetime Pro pays for itself only over a long horizon. Against Unlimited General billed monthly ($54.99), it breaks even after about 18 months. Against General on 3-month billing ($119.97 a quarter), it takes about 25 months. Unless you expect to use LockedIn for years, a subscription you can cancel is the cheaper choice.

LockedIn AI refund and cancellation policy

LockedIn's refund policy, last updated October 14, 2026, is stricter than the "Money-back guarantee" badge on its pricing page suggests:

LockedIn's support FAQ adds that refund requests are handled case by case, but the written policy is what you can rely on. Treat a monthly or quarterly purchase as final.

To cancel, use the web app at app.lockedinai.com, not the desktop app: click your avatar, open Billing & Plans and choose Cancel subscription under Manage Membership. If you subscribed on iPhone or Android, cancel through the App Store or Google Play instead. Either way, you keep access until the paid period ends, and you should cancel before the renewal date.

What LockedIn AI costs per interview: three example schedules

Here is the arithmetic for three schedules we made up. Each assumes one-hour interviews, the cheapest LockedIn plan at list price that covers them, and no tax or promo codes.

Example scheduleCheapest LockedIn AI planTotalPer interview
1. One interview next weekUnlimited General, 1 month$54.99$54.99
2. Eight interviews over 6 weeksUnlimited General, 2 months$109.98$13.75
3. Twenty interviews over 3 monthsUnlimited General, 3-month billing$119.97$6.00

The 3-month Credits plan's 20 hours would also cover schedule 3, but at $149.97 with no minutes to spare. The free plan can't cover a full interview in any schedule. For other tools, our guide to how much an AI interview assistant costs shows how to run the same math.

LockedIn AI vs CoPilot Interview on price

CoPilot Interview's figures use a 1-hour pack for schedule 1 and the Standard plan for two months ($29.98) and three months ($44.97); Pro at $29.99 a month removes the 2-hour gap if your rounds run back to back.

Where LockedIn is stronger: longer paid sessions, more free minutes a day (in shorter sessions), and web and mobile apps as well as desktop. Where CoPilot Interview costs less: every schedule above, a free plan long enough for a real practice round, and a refund window on new subscriptions. Our CoPilot Interview vs LockedIn AI comparison covers features, the LockedIn AI review covers what it does, and the AI interview assistant comparison covers the wider market.

Whichever tool you pick, follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan. You can start with a free AI mock interview.

Practice a full answer before you pay

CoPilot Interview's free plan gives you 15 minutes every day, enough for a short Mock Interview built from your résumé and the job description, with each spoken answer scored out of 10. No credit card and no signup to start.

FAQ

How much does LockedIn AI cost per month?

As of October 2026, Unlimited General is $54.99 a month, or $39.99 a month billed every 3 months. Unlimited Professional is $119.99 a month, or $79.99 a month billed every 3 months. The Credits plan is $69.99 a month for 400 copilot minutes.

Is LockedIn AI free?

It has a free plan with unlimited 5-minute sessions, up to 60 minutes a day, plus free resume and career tools. Each session stops after 5 minutes, so the free plan can't cover a full-length interview.

What's the difference between LockedIn AI General and Professional?

LockedIn's help center says they're identical for ordinary copilot use. Professional adds LockedIn Duo, which it describes as remote interview assist, and one other paid-only feature, for $119.99 a month instead of $54.99.

Do LockedIn AI credits expire?

No. LockedIn says credits stay in your account indefinitely, even after a subscription ends, though they then work only with its general AI models. One credit equals 2 minutes of copilot time.

Can I get a refund from LockedIn AI?

Its refund policy says monthly and quarterly subscriptions are non-refundable once started. Lifetime Pro can be refunded within 7 days if you haven't started a session, and billing errors reported within 7 days are reviewed.

How do I cancel LockedIn AI?

Cancel in the web app at app.lockedinai.com under Billing & Plans, not in the desktop app, or through the App Store or Google Play if you subscribed on a phone. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Is the LockedIn AI lifetime plan worth it?

Only if you'll use it for years. At $999.50, Lifetime Pro takes about 18 months to beat Unlimited General billed monthly and about 25 months to beat General on 3-month billing.
