Across the eight major “Best AI Interview Assistants” listicles published by Final Round AI's blog in 2025-2026, LockedIn AI appears in 8 out of 8. They have product-market fit in the live-interview-assistance niche, particularly for candidates who value stealth/undetectability framing.

This comparison is honest. LockedIn AI is a real product with real users; we are not going to pretend otherwise. Where we differ from them is on three specific architectural decisions: free tier substance, desktop-first delivery, and multi-model AI flexibility. The right choice depends on what you actually need.

Free tier substance

Most AI interview tools (including LockedIn AI) offer some form of free option, but the substance varies dramatically. Both products are mature enough that the choice really does come down to your specific use case rather than capability gaps.

Where LockedIn AI is the better fit

This comparison is honest. LockedIn AI is the right choice in some situations:

• If you are deep in the Chrome ecosystem and prefer not to install desktop software, LockedIn AI's browser-first design will feel more natural.

4. Test failure recovery: kill your Wi-Fi for 20 seconds, then resume. Which tool recovers cleanly?
5. Price the timeline: if your search is 4-6 weeks, what is the total cost on each?
