The best InterviewMan alternatives in 2026 are CoPilot Interview, LockedIn AI, Final Round AI, Verve AI, Parakeet AI, Interviews.chat and Sensei AI. Our pick is CoPilot Interview, an AI interview assistant with a free plan of 15 minutes every day, a Mock Interview that scores each spoken answer out of 10, paid plans from $14.99 a month and a 14-day money-back guarantee on a new subscription. InterviewMan costs $30 a month or $144 a year as of October 2026, and it doesn't publish how long its free trial lasts.
We make CoPilot Interview, so read this list with that in mind. Every competitor fact below comes from the vendor's own pricing page, FAQ or policy, checked in October 2026, and we link each one. Where a vendor doesn't publish something, we say so. This page is part of our report on the state of AI interview assistants in 2026, and our InterviewMan review covers the product itself.
What is InterviewMan, and what does it cost?
InterviewMan's homepage presents it as a real-time AI helper for interviews, aimed mainly at technical rounds. Paraphrasing its own pages as of October 2026, it transcribes the call, detects when a question is asked and suggests an answer, and it offers a free résumé checker called Resume Radar. It has desktop apps for macOS and Windows, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and a web version. Among the call apps it names are Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Amazon Chime and Webex. Much of its marketing is about a mode designed to stay out of view of other call participants; we don't repeat or test those claims.
From the InterviewMan pricing page, checked October 22, 2026:
| InterviewMan plan | Price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0, no credit card | Trial length and minutes not published |
| Monthly | $30/month | Unlimited minutes, unlimited session length, all interview types, history export, priority support |
| Yearly | $12/month, billed $144/year | Same as Monthly |
| Student | $129.60/year | 10% off the yearly plan, by emailing for a promo code |
Its cancellation policy (last updated January 2, 2026) lets you cancel in Settings, by email or through the App Store or Google Play, and keep access until the billing period ends, after which the account moves to the free plan. For annual plans, refunds for unused months are generally not given, though it says exceptions may be made. We found no money-back guarantee.
Why do people look for an InterviewMan alternative?
These are reasons you can check on InterviewMan's own pages. We don't repeat user complaints.
- The trial has no published size. You can start without a card, but you can't plan a full practice round around a trial whose length isn't stated.
- The low rate needs a year up front. $12 a month applies only when you pay $144 at once, and unused months are generally not refunded. Most job searches end well before twelve months.
- Practice means studying generated answers. As of October 2026, its practice mode has the AI generate answers for you to study. It doesn't describe scoring your own spoken answers.
- Thin company details. The site footer names only "InterviewMan", and its terms name no other legal entity or street address.
Its real strength is the one it advertises: no cap on minutes or session length on paid plans, which matters for long panels.

The 7 best AI interview assistant alternatives to InterviewMan
1. CoPilot Interview: Best choice
Best choice for most people leaving InterviewMan, because it fixes the three gaps above: a published free plan you can use every day, scored practice and a refund window. CoPilot Interview is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+ that runs in its own window beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. It has four modes: Candidate Mode for live help, Mock Interview, Interviewer Mode for hiring managers and a Resume Builder.
- Practice that grades you. Mock Interview builds questions from your résumé and the job description. You choose the level, 3, 5 or 8 questions and the mix (behavioral, technical, system design, coding). It reads each question aloud and scores your spoken answer out of 10 with what worked, what to fix and a model answer, then gives you a report card.
- Live help. Live captions of the question, then a structured answer in about 2 seconds after the question ends. Dual AI Mode shows two models side by side.
- Price. Free forever at 15 minutes a day. Standard is $14.99 a month (sale; regular $19.99) with 60-minute sessions and up to 100 minutes a day; Pro is $29.99 a month with 70-minute sessions and no daily limit. See CoPilot Interview pricing.
Honest limits: it's desktop only, the Android companion is a beta outside Google Play, there's no human coach, and the free plan is 15 minutes a day. If you want no cap on session length, InterviewMan's paid plans have none, while ours run 60 or 70 minutes per session. More on our AI interview assistant for Windows and Mac.
2. LockedIn AI: the most devices
LockedIn AI runs on Windows, macOS, a web app and iOS and Android apps, the closest match to InterviewMan's platform list. Its free plan allows unlimited 5-minute sessions, up to 60 minutes a day. On October 22, 2026 its pricing page showed Unlimited General at $54.99 a month (against a struck-through $109.98) or $39.99 a month billed every 3 months, with sessions of up to 2 hours.
Strengths: phone apps and long sessions. Limits: each free session stops at 5 minutes, and monthly and quarterly plans are non-refundable once started. Its offers rotate; our LockedIn AI pricing breakdown tracks them.
3. Final Round AI: the broad paid practice suite
Final Round AI combines a live copilot with practice interviews in eight scenarios, automatic debriefs and a large question bank, per its plans page. Paid plans are $150 a month, $83.33 a month billed quarterly or $25 a month billed yearly ($300).
Strengths: the most structured practice program on this list. Limits: the free plan covers preparation only, so you can't try live help without paying, and the desktop app needs macOS 14.4 or later. We compare it head to head in Final Round AI vs InterviewMan.
4. Verve AI: free mock interviews and many languages
Verve AI's free plan includes 3 copilot sessions a month of 15 minutes each and 5 AI mock interviews with reports, per its pricing page. Standard is $44.99 a month for five 60-minute sessions; Pro is $84.99 a month for unlimited 90-minute sessions, or $34.99 a month billed annually.
Strengths: mock interviews on the free plan, apps on web, desktop and iPhone, and 55+ languages per its site. Limits: Standard caps you at five live sessions a month, and refunds apply only to a technical issue on Verve's side or no use at all.
5. Parakeet AI: pay by the hour
Parakeet AI sells one-hour credits instead of requiring a subscription: $38 for one, falling to $11.80 a credit in its 15-credit pack, and the credits never expire, per its homepage pricing. Unlimited is $149.90 a month, $78 a week or $49.99 a month billed yearly.
Strengths: no subscription for a short search, a phone-browser version, 50+ languages and a model choice per session. Limits: a single hour costs $38, free sessions stop at 10 minutes, and the 7-day refund covers only accidental or unused purchases.
6. Interviews.chat: the lowest unlimited price
Interviews.chat starts with 30 free credits, then charges $19 a month for 1,000 one-minute credits, $29 a month for unlimited use or $69 a quarter, per its pricing page. Its web version needs no install, with an optional Chrome extension and a desktop app.
Strengths: unlimited use for $23 a month on quarterly billing, and nothing to install. Limits: the 30 free credits cover at most 30 minutes and aren't stated to renew, and its terms make fees non-refundable except for non-delivery or a duplicate purchase. See our Interviews.chat vs LockedIn AI comparison.
7. Sensei AI: browser-based, with résumé and story tools
Sensei AI's homepage describes "real-time assistance for live interviews". It runs in the browser, and its free plan allows as many 15-minute copilot sessions as you like, plus an AI Resume Builder and Story Editor, per senseicopilot.com. Pro is $89 a month or $24 a month billed annually.
Strengths: no published daily cap on free sessions, and nothing to install. Limits: $89 a month unless you commit to a year, coding help is Pro-only, and its FAQ says it doesn't offer refunds. We compare it with a general meeting assistant in Sensei AI vs Cluely.

| You want a structured program | Final Round AI | Eight practice scenarios and debriefs on paid plans |
Practice it: test an alternative before you pay
A feature table can't tell you which tool helps you answer better. A one-week test can:
- Day 1: set up. Install the tool on the computer, headset and call app you'll actually use. For CoPilot Interview that means download, unzip and run, with no account.
- Days 2 to 4: rehearse out loud. Run a short Mock Interview built from your résumé and the job description, or use the free browser AI mock interview, which has 113 real questions across 9 tracks and nothing to install.
- Day 5: read the feedback. Compare your scores and the "what to fix" notes. Our guide to how AI interview assistants score answers explains what useful feedback looks like.
- Days 6 to 7: price your real search. Count the rounds you expect and pick the cheapest plan that covers them, monthly rather than yearly if your search is short.
Follow the rules of the employer or platform you're interviewing with — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan. For the full field of 15 tools, see the best AI interview assistants compared, or our CoPilot Interview vs InterviewMan page for a direct comparison.
