Yoodli vs Big Interview, in short: Yoodli is the cheaper monthly option for speaking practice, with live AI roleplays and a speaking report on pacing and filler words, at $11 a month for Pro (or $8 a month billed annually) as of October 2026, but it doesn't refund cancellations. Big Interview is a course-first interview platform at $39 for 30 days, $99 for 3 months or $299 for lifetime access, with 170 video lessons, a voice-only AI interview simulator, video feedback on eye contact and body language, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
We make CoPilot Interview, a competing practice tool, and cover it as a third option near the end. Every Yoodli fact below comes from yoodli.ai (its pricing page, FAQ and interview-preparation page) and every Big Interview fact from biginterview.com (its pricing and product pages), all read on October 20, 2026.
The verdict: which to pick
- Pick Yoodli if your problem is delivery (rambling, filler words, pace), you want short roleplays you can repeat every week, and you'd rather pay a few dollars a month than buy a course. It also covers conversations beyond interviews, such as a salary negotiation.
- Pick Big Interview if you want to be taught how interviews work, you need feedback on eye contact and body language for video interviews, or you want a refund window. Ask your college career center or workforce program first, since Big Interview also sells licenses to them.
- Pick neither yet if you mainly need practice for technical or job-specific questions. A free AI mock interview shows you what to work on before you pay for anything.

Prices are from the Big Interview pricing page. Organizations buy custom licenses. Our Big Interview pricing guide covers what each tier includes.
What each costs over time
Our arithmetic from the listed prices, choosing the cheapest way to cover each period, before tax:
| How long you need it | Yoodli Pro | Yoodli Advanced | Big Interview |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $11 | $28 | $39 (BootCamp) |
| 3 months | $33 | $84 | $99 (Accelerator) |
| 12 months | $96 (billed annually) | $240 (billed annually) | $299 (lifetime), or $396 as four 3-month terms |
Yoodli costs less at every length, but the two products don't buy the same thing: Yoodli Pro caps you at 10 roleplays a week, while Big Interview lists no weekly cap and varies what each tier includes; its FAQ says the $299 lifetime plan unlocks everything. That lifetime fee only pays off if you expect to job hunt again.
How the practice works in each
Yoodli
Yoodli's interview-preparation page lays out three steps: choose your conversation context, practice the conversation, and get instant feedback. The AI responds to the context and to your answers, so you get follow-up questions as in a real conversation. Afterwards it builds a speaking report with analytics "such as pacing and filler words," plus suggestions. You can also upload a recording and get feedback on it.
The same page frames Yoodli around crucial conversations, such as salary negotiations and performance talks, as well as interviews. That breadth is useful if you also give presentations or pitches at work. One note on data from Yoodli's FAQ: on the Starter and Pro plans, session data may be used to improve the platform; Advanced excludes your data from AI training.
Big Interview
Big Interview teaches first. Its homepage describes three steps: learn from expert-led lessons and frameworks, practice real interview questions with video AI, and get AI feedback and coaching tips. The lessons are organized by career stage and interview challenge, and a Fast-Track module is meant for people who need to prepare now.
Practice runs through two tools. The Interview Simulator uses a voice-only format "just like a real phone screen," with personalized questions after you upload your résumé, feedback on delivery and answer quality, and a step-by-step answer builder. VideoAI analyzes recorded video answers for pace of speech, vocabulary, filler words, eye contact and body language, and flags when you lose your train of thought. Its Big Resume tool adds AI feedback on your résumé.
Refunds and cancelling
Yoodli: to cancel an individual plan, sign in and go to Account → Billing. Cancelling stops auto-renewal and you keep access until the end of the billing period, but Yoodli's FAQ says it "does not offer refunds on cancellation." Try the 5 free roleplays before you pay.
Big Interview: the pricing page promises a 100% refund "if you don't see the results within 30 days," and its FAQ says to email support within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. You cancel your membership renewal from your account page.
Who each one fits
Yoodli fits you if you know your content but lose it in delivery, you want a cheap monthly habit of short roleplays, or your employer will reimburse a learning tool (reimbursement is supported on Advanced). It fits less well if you need a course on how interviews work, or if you'll practice heavily, since Pro stops at 10 roleplays a week.
Big Interview fits you if you're a new grad, a career changer or returning to work and want structured lessons, you face video interviews and want feedback on how you look on camera, or your school already licenses it. It fits less well if you only have a few days, since the cheapest option is $39 and the course pays off over several sessions.
A third option: CoPilot Interview
If neither fits, CoPilot Interview is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+ built around practice. Its Mock Interview builds the interview from your résumé and the job description, lets you pick the level, 3, 5 or 8 questions and a mix of behavioral, technical, system design and coding questions, reads each question aloud and scores your spoken answer out of 10 with what to fix and a model answer, then gives you a report card. It has no lesson library and doesn't analyze body language.
| Free option | Month to month | Practice format | Refund | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CoPilot Interview | Best choice: 15 minutes every day, all four modes, no card or signup | $14.99/mo Standard (sale; regular $19.99); hour packs from $5.99 | Best choice for job-specific practice: questions from your résumé and the job description, including coding | 14 days on the first payment of a new subscription, if under 30 minutes of live session time used |
| Yoodli | Up to 5 roleplays in total | $11/mo Pro | AI roleplays with follow-ups; speaking report | None on cancellation |
| Big Interview | A free course | $39 for 30 days | Lessons, voice-only simulator, VideoAI | 30 days |
Disclosure: we make CoPilot Interview.
CoPilot Interview also has a live Candidate Mode for real calls. Follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan. Practice the answer, then polish the delivery
CoPilot Interview's browser mock interview has 113 real questions across 9 tracks with nothing to install, and the free desktop app scores each spoken answer out of 10 with what to fix and a model answer.
