Cluely pricing, as of October 2026, has three desktop plans: the free Starter plan, Pro at $19.99 a month (or $11.99 a month billed annually) and a top tier at $149.99 a month (or $44.99 a month billed annually). Cluely's iPhone app is priced on its own, at $8 a week or $144 a year.
Every figure here comes from Cluely's pricing page, checked on October 20, 2026, in USD as shown to a US visitor. The billing, refund and cancellation terms come from Cluely's terms of service, refund policy and help center, read the same day. Cluely changes its prices fairly often, so compare the total at checkout before you pay.

What the free Cluely Starter plan includes
Cluely's help center says the free plan includes its latest models, meeting notes and drafted follow-up emails. The limits are real, though:
- A daily cap on AI messages and meeting notes. The free allowance resets every 24 hours. Cluely doesn't publish the exact numbers on its pricing page or in its help center.
- Up to 3 uploaded files for context, against unlimited files on the paid plans.
- No unlimited chat or notetaking. Those start at Pro.
Because the caps aren't published, you can't plan a full hour of use around the free plan. It's good for checking how Cluely looks on your computer and how its answers read, not for relying on it through a long call.
Pro vs the $149.99 top tier: what the extra money buys
Cluely's pricing page lists only one extra feature on the top tier; unlimited responses, notetaking, the latest models and priority support are all already in Pro. That one feature costs $130 a month more on monthly billing, or $33 a month more on annual billing, so for interview preparation Pro covers everything that matters.
Monthly or annual billing
Annual Pro is billed as one payment of about $143.88, the same as roughly 7.2 months of monthly Pro. Annual billing only saves money if you'll keep using Cluely for longer than that. For the top tier, the annual total of about $539.88 equals roughly 3.6 months of monthly billing.
Cluely's help center adds two limits on switching: you can't upgrade directly from a monthly to an annual subscription, and you can't move from annual to monthly while the annual period is active. A new subscription can only start after the current one ends.
Mobile is priced separately
The iPhone app has its own plan: $8 a week, or $144 billed annually. Paying weekly for a full year would come to $416 (our arithmetic), so the annual option is much cheaper if you'll use it all year. Cluely's help center says its mobile app is currently Apple only. The pricing page doesn't say whether a desktop subscription also covers the iPhone app, so check before you pay twice.
Check your computer first
Cluely's system requirements list macOS 13 Ventura or later and Windows 11 (Home or Pro). Windows 10 isn't supported, and the refund policy excludes Windows 10 computers, so confirm your operating system before you buy.
Cluely refund and cancellation policy
Cluely's written terms are strict, and they're worth reading before the first payment:
- Automatic renewal. Cluely's terms of service (last updated June 10, 2025) say subscriptions renew for successive billing periods at the then-current price unless you opt out, and that Cluely can raise fees for renewal terms.
- Refunds are narrow. The refund policy says: "We offer a 24-hour refund policy for our software subscription." It applies only if you can show video evidence that the software doesn't work on your computer. Slow answers and similar complaints aren't refundable, and neither are Windows 10 computers.
- What the help center adds. Its refund article (dated March 5, 2026) lists forgetting to cancel and changing your plan as not eligible. You email support with your account email and an invoice, and refunds arrive in 5 to 10 business days.
- No pro-rata refunds. Cancelling partway through a billing period doesn't return the unused part.
To cancel, Cluely's help article says to open the desktop app, click your profile icon, go to Settings > Billing and click Manage. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you cancel. You won't be charged again, and paid features stay on until the period you paid for ends. Cluely's cancellation pages don't cover iPhone purchases, so if you subscribed in the iOS app, check your App Store subscriptions too.
One more billing tip from Cluely's help center: a separate company called CluelyAI (cluelyai.com) is not affiliated with Cluely and sells different plans. Official charges show as CLUELY, INC, so check the descriptor before you dispute a charge or ask for a refund.
What Cluely costs per interview: three example schedules
Here is the arithmetic for three schedules we made up. Each assumes one-hour interviews, the cheapest Cluely plan with unlimited AI responses (Pro, billed monthly) and no tax.

On the top tier, the same schedules cost $149.99, $299.98 and $449.97, or $149.99, $37.50 and $22.50 per interview. Annual Pro, at about $143.88 up front, costs more than monthly Pro in all three schedules. The free Starter plan can't be counted on for any of them, because its daily caps aren't published.
