Best AIApply Alternatives in 2026: 8 Tools Compared

Four tools for applying to jobs and four for interview prep, with free plans, prices and refund terms checked on vendor sites in October 2026.

The best AIApply alternatives depend on which half of AIApply you're replacing. For applying to jobs, use Simplify (free autofill and tracker, with Autopilot auto-apply on Simplify+), Teal or Huntr for résumés and tracking, and Jobscan to check a résumé against a posting; for interview prep, use CoPilot Interview for scored mock interviews and live help, Yoodli for delivery coaching, or Big Interview for lessons. As of October 2026, AIApply sells separate subscriptions: Premium at $29 a month, Auto Apply from $49 a month for 100 applications, and Interview Buddy at $19 a month, with no free trial.

Below is a summary table, then the alternatives split into application tools and interview prep tools, with strengths and honest limits for each. We make CoPilot Interview, which covers only the interview half, so every competitor fact comes from the vendor's own site, checked in October 2026.

What AIApply is, and why people look for an AIApply alternative

AIApply is a job-application platform. Its core is Auto Apply, which submits applications for you, plus a résumé builder, cover letter generator, ATS-oriented résumé scanner and job board. It also sells two interview features: a mock interview tool and Interview Buddy, a live interview assistant. Our AIApply review explains the product in full, and our AIApply pricing guide works through the costs.

As of October 2026, AIApply's help center (Pricing & billing and How plans, credits and charges work) lists:

Do you need an application tool or an interview prep tool?

Answer one question first: are you getting interviews?

A simple test: if your tailored applications rarely turn into recruiter calls, work on applications first; if you reach later rounds and don't get offers, work on interviews.

Best AIApply alternatives for interview prep

1. CoPilot Interview: best for scored practice and live help

CoPilot Interview is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+ built only for job interviews. It runs as its own window beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, with four modes: Candidate Mode for live help, Mock Interview, Interviewer Mode, and a Resume Builder that tailors your résumé from a job URL and drafts a referral message.

Strengths:

Limits: it doesn't apply to jobs for you, find openings or track applications. The full app is desktop only, with an Android companion in beta outside Google Play. There's no human coach. CoPilot Interview isn't affiliated with Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot.

Follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan.

2. Final Round AI: best broad paid interview suite

Final Round AI is a desktop app for Windows and macOS 14.4+ with a live copilot, practice interviews and automatic debriefs. Its pricing page says there's no free trial and live sessions need Pro.

Strengths: the widest paid interview feature set here, with a free plan for job-description prep and résumé materials.

Limits: $150/mo month to month (the $25/mo price is billed annually), and no free live sessions. See AIApply vs Final Round AI.

3. Yoodli: best for delivery coaching

Yoodli is an AI roleplay and speech coach that gives feedback on how you speak: pacing, filler words, clarity and conciseness. As of October 2026 its pricing page lists Starter with 5 lifetime roleplays, Pro at $8/mo billed annually (up to 10 roleplays a week) and Advanced at $20/mo billed annually (unlimited).

Strengths: low annual prices and detailed delivery feedback, including on uploaded recordings.

Limits: it coaches communication more than interview content, and there's no live interview help. See the Yoodli review.

4. Big Interview: best for structured lessons

Big Interview combines interview video lessons with practice you record and get AI feedback on. Its pricing page lists $39 for 30 days, $99 for 3 months and $299 for lifetime access, with a full refund within 30 days if it isn't a fit.

Strengths: a structured curriculum, a lifetime option and a 30-day refund window. Many university career centers license it, so check with your school.

Limits: no free personal plan and no live interview help. See the Big Interview review.

5. Simplify: best for autofill and tracking

Simplify matches you to openings, autofills applications with its Copilot browser extension and tracks applications, interviews and offers in one dashboard. Its site says those core tools are free for job seekers. Simplify's extension is named Copilot; it isn't related to CoPilot Interview.

Strengths: the closest swap for AIApply's applying features. Simplify+ adds résumé tailoring, cover letters and Autopilot, which applies to up to 20 jobs a week for you, at $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 for 3 months, per its help center (October 2026).

Limits: Autopilot's 20 applications a week is far below AIApply's volume tiers, and Simplify+ renews automatically unless you cancel. Read every autofilled field before you submit.

6. Teal: best for résumé versions and a tracker

Teal is a résumé builder with job-description keyword matching, AI bullet writing and a job tracker. Its pricing page lists Teal+ at $13 every 7 days, $29 every 30 days or $79 every 90 days, with no credit card needed to start.

Strengths: unlimited résumés and job tracking on the free plan, so you can keep a version per role type.

Limits: it doesn't apply for you, and the free plan's AI credits are limited.

7. Huntr: best job tracker with tailored résumés

Huntr is a job tracker with a Chrome job clipper, job-tailored résumés and application autofill. As of October 2026 its pricing page lists a free plan with up to 100 tracked jobs, 2 job-tailored résumés and unlimited autofills, and Pro at $40/mo, $90 every 3 months or $160 every 6 months.

Strengths: a generous free tracker and unlimited autofills.

Limits: only 2 tailored résumés on the free plan, and no auto-submit.

8. Jobscan: best final check before you apply

Jobscan compares your résumé with a job description and flags missing keywords and formatting issues. Its plan page lists Premium at $49.95 a month or $89.95 every 3 months, with a 7-day free trial on the quarterly plan (October 2026).

Strengths: focused, specific feedback for a role you care about.

Limits: it's a checker, not a builder or applier, and month-to-month Premium is pricey for one job.

How we chose these AIApply alternatives

We did not run paid hands-on tests of every product. We compared what each vendor publishes on its own pricing pages, help centers and FAQs, read in October 2026, plus figures in our guide to AI tools for job seekers from the same month. We ignored user counts and interview-rate claims because they're self-reported.

What decided the list:

Getting interviews but not offers?

Rehearse with a free AI mock interview in your browser, with nothing to install. The desktop app adds 15 free minutes every day, including Mock Interview, which scores each spoken answer out of 10.

FAQ

What is the best AIApply alternative?

It depends on which part you are replacing. For applying, Simplify is the closest free option, with autofill and a tracker, and Simplify+ adds Autopilot auto-apply. For interviews, CoPilot Interview gives 15 free minutes every day, including a Mock Interview that scores each spoken answer out of 10. We make CoPilot Interview, so weigh our pick accordingly.

How much does AIApply cost in 2026?

As of October 2026, AIApply Premium is $29 a month or $144 a year, Auto Apply is $49 a month for 100 applications, $99 a month for 250 or $199 a quarter for 750, the two tailoring add-ons are $12 a month each, and Interview Buddy is $19 a month or $99 a year. Each is a separate subscription.

Does AIApply have a free trial?

No. AIApply’s help center says it does not currently offer a free trial. Its free plan includes up to two mock interviews, the job board, saved jobs and a limited number of cover letters, but not the Resume Builder.

Is there a free alternative to AIApply Auto Apply?

Not a free auto-submitter, but Simplify’s Copilot extension autofills applications for free, and Huntr’s free plan includes unlimited autofills. You still review and submit each application yourself, which also catches autofill mistakes.

Only in narrow cases. AIApply says subscription fees are generally non-refundable; an accidental purchase may qualify if you contact support within 30 minutes and have not used the service meaningfully, and Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications are submitted.

Does CoPilot Interview apply to jobs for me?

No. CoPilot Interview helps with interviews: Mock Interview practice, live help, Interviewer Mode and a Resume Builder that tailors your résumé from a job URL. If your problem is getting interviews, pair it with an application tool such as Simplify or Teal.
