AIApply vs Final Round AI is a comparison of two different centers of gravity: AIApply is a job-application platform (auto-apply, tailored résumés and cover letters, a job board) with interview tools added on, while Final Round AI is an interview platform built around practice, live help and debriefs. Pick AIApply if your applications aren't turning into interviews; pick Final Round AI if you're getting interviews and want deeper practice. As of October 2026, Final Round AI publishes its prices ($150 a month, or $25 a month billed yearly), while AIApply doesn't list prices on its public site.
We make CoPilot Interview, a competing product, and cover it briefly as a third option. Everything below about AIApply and Final Round AI comes from their own homepages, plans pages, FAQs and refund policy, checked October 17, 2026. We didn't buy either plan, and we left out the user counts, ratings and interview-rate percentages on both sites.
AIApply vs Final Round AI: the short verdict
- Pick AIApply if your bottleneck is getting interviews: it finds roles, tailors your résumé and cover letter to each one and can submit applications for you with auto-apply credits.
- Pick Final Round AI if your bottleneck is the interview itself: eight practice-interview scenarios, a 10,000+ question bank, automatic debriefs and a live assistant in one desktop app.
- Know what you're paying. Final Round publishes every price. AIApply sells a Premium subscription (monthly or annual) and auto-apply credits separately, but shows prices only after you sign up.
Our AIApply alternative page explains how to tell which bottleneck you have. This page compares the two products feature by feature.

AIApply vs Final Round AI pricing
AIApply
As of October 2026, AIApply's public pages describe its plans but don't show prices:
- Free: a limited free tier for core tools, such as a sample cover letter or browsing the job board. There's no timed trial.
- Premium (also called Pro): monthly or annual billing, with a discount for annual. Its FAQ says it includes the résumé builder, cover letters, interview prep, the job board, the résumé scanner and the translator. Its FAQ also lists Interview Buddy among the features you unlock by upgrading.
- Auto-apply credits: sold separately in packs (its examples are 100 or 250 credits), and can be bundled with Premium.
- Students: a discounted Premium plan after verifying student status.
Refunds are "case-by-case", per its FAQ, which says the company often gives prorated refunds or credits when issues arise. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in account settings. Because prices only appear inside the product, write down the total for Premium plus the credits you'll need before you compare it with anything else.
Final Round AI
- Free: $0. Goals with your résumé and materials, job-description parsing, a prep checklist and a basic report. No live sessions and no free trial.
- Monthly Plan: $150.00 a month.
- Quarterly Plan: $83.33 a month, billed quarterly (about $250).
- Yearly Plan: $25.00 a month, billed annually ($300).
- Premium MAX: $41.67 a month, billed annually, with premium AI models.
Final Round's Refund Policy (last updated October 8, 2026) gives a 72-hour money-back guarantee on all plans, once per customer, void after two sessions over 30 minutes in the billing period. The FAQ on its plans page says the guarantee covers only first-time Quarterly and Yearly purchases. See our Final Round AI pricing guide for the full rules.
Which is better for interview practice?
Final Round AI, on published features. Its practice interviews launch from a Goal that already knows your role, company and résumé, run across eight scenarios, and end with a debrief that the next practice run builds on. It also has a 10,000+ question bank on paid plans.
AIApply's AI Mock Interview gives role-specific questions and feedback, which covers the basics. It doesn't publish how answers are scored, how many scenarios it has or a question-bank size.
Whatever you use, practice out loud. Two free starting points on our site: generate likely questions from a job description, and shape stories with the STAR story builder.
Which is better for live interview help?
Final Round AI's live assistant is its core product, with a dedicated desktop app and screen help; AIApply's Interview Buddy is one feature of a platform built mainly for applications. If live help is the main reason you're buying, Final Round is the more focused of the two, but you can't test its live sessions without paying, since it has no free trial.
Final Round's paid plans cover all its listed interview types, including coding and phone interviews. If one of your rounds is a timed online assessment, don't use any assistant during it. Take the assessment yourself and follow the employer's rules — use CoPilot Interview to practice beforehand.
Who should pick AIApply, and who should pick Final Round AI
AIApply fits you if you
- Send many applications and hear back from few of them.
- Want résumés and cover letters tailored per job without doing it by hand.
- Are a student and can use the discounted Premium plan.
Final Round AI fits you if you
- Already get interviews and want structured, repeated practice.
- Can commit to a quarter or a year, where the monthly price drops from $150 to $83.33 or $25.
- Run Windows or macOS 14.4 or later.
Some people use both in sequence: an application tool while the pipeline is thin, then an interview tool once rounds are booked. Our AIApply review and Final Round AI review cover each in more depth, and best Final Round AI alternatives lists more options.
A third option: CoPilot Interview
CoPilot Interview is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+ that we make. It focuses on the interview, with a résumé tool included: Mock Interview builds questions from your résumé and the job description, reads them aloud, scores each spoken answer out of 10 with what to fix and a model answer, and ends with a report card. The Resume Builder makes a tailored résumé from a job URL and your résumé, plus a referral message. In Candidate Mode it runs beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet and gives a structured answer in about 2 seconds. It doesn't apply to jobs for you. It is not affiliated with Final Round AI's Interview CoPilot, Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot.
