AIApply Review

AIApply gets compared to interview copilots constantly, and the comparison is misleading. It is built to get you into interviews, not to help you inside them, and those are different problems with different budgets.

We build CoPilot Interview, which competes with this product. Read us critically, and here is our standard: everything below comes from the vendor's own published material, checked on 3 October 2026. We do not repeat unaudited marketing statistics as fact, and we do not quote prices that change week to week. Where something is not published, we say so rather than guessing.

What it is

A job-application platform. Its core loop is finding roles, tailoring your resume and cover letter to each one, and applying on your behalf, with a job board and an ATS-oriented resume scanner alongside.

It also ships interview-adjacent features: mock interview practice and a live assistant the vendor calls Interview Buddy, which shows prompts and answer suggestions visible only to you and works with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.

The distinction that matters

If your problem is that you send applications and hear nothing, AIApply addresses that directly, and no interview copilot will help you at all, because you are not getting interviews. If your problem is that you get interviews and then lose them, AIApply's Interview Buddy is a secondary feature in a product built for something else, and a dedicated copilot will be deeper.

Diagnose honestly which of those two situations you are in before you spend anything. Buying the wrong one is the most common waste of money in this whole category.

What it costs

There is a limited free account. Paid access is a subscription, and auto-apply credits are sold separately from it, which is the detail most buyers miss: the headline subscription does not necessarily include as many automated applications as you expect. Check how many credits your plan includes and what more cost before committing.

About the numbers on its site

AIApply's homepage cites a user count in the millions and a percentage of users who get an interview within ten days. Both are self-reported and unaudited. We have not treated them as evidence, and nor should you; the same applies to comparable claims from every vendor here, including us.

Alternatives worth comparing

Our comparison page is CoPilot Interview vs AIApply, which sets out the same application-versus-interview split in more detail.

Disclosed alternative: CoPilot Interview helps inside the interview and does not apply to jobs for you. The two are complementary rather than competing, and if your applications are not landing, ours is the wrong purchase this month.

Frequently asked questions

Is AIApply legit?

It is a real, established platform with a broad published feature set covering auto-apply, resume and cover letter generation, an ATS scanner and a job board. The caution is not about legitimacy but about fit: the user counts and interview-rate percentages on its site are self-reported and unaudited, and the product solves application volume rather than interview performance.

Is AIApply free?

There is a limited free account. Paid access is a subscription, and auto-apply credits are purchased separately from it, so check how many applications your plan actually covers before assuming the subscription includes unlimited automated applying.

Does AIApply help during the interview itself?

Partly. It includes mock interview practice and a live assistant called Interview Buddy that shows prompts and answer suggestions only you can see, working with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. It is a secondary feature in an application-focused product, so expect less depth than a dedicated interview copilot, particularly in technical rounds.

Should I buy AIApply or an interview copilot?

Diagnose the bottleneck first. If you apply and hear nothing, the problem is application volume and targeting, and an interview copilot will not help because you are not reaching interviews. If you reach interviews and lose them, a dedicated copilot is the right spend and AIApply addresses a problem you do not have.

Does AIApply work for coding interviews?

It does not market coding-round support, and nothing in its published feature set suggests the depth that dedicated coding copilots offer. If you are facing live coding screens, look at a tool built for that specifically.

Are AIApply's user numbers real?

They are vendor self-reported and not independently audited, including the figure for users who get an interview within ten days. Treat them as marketing. Judge the product on a trial of the free account against your own applications.
