Final Round AI pricing, as of October 2026, starts with a $0 plan that covers preparation only. Live Interview CoPilot sessions need a paid plan: $150.00 a month billed monthly, $83.33 a month billed quarterly (about $250 every three months) or $25.00 a month billed yearly ($300 up front). A Premium MAX plan with what Final Round calls premium AI models is $41.67 a month, billed yearly. There is no free trial, and the money-back guarantee lasts 3 days.
The "$25 a month" on Final Round's main pricing card is the yearly plan's monthly equivalent, so it's the figure people most often misread. This guide lists every plan from Final Round AI's own plans page, refund policy and terms of use, all checked on October 14, 2026, then works out what the subscription costs per interview for three example job searches. Prices are in USD as shown to a US visitor; tax, regional pricing and promotions can change what you actually pay.
Final Round AI pricing plans at a glance
| Plan | Listed price | Billed | Charged up front | Live sessions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Never | $0 | Not included |
| Monthly Plan | $150.00/month | Every month | $150 | Unlimited |
| Quarterly Plan | $83.33/month | Every 3 months | About $250 | Unlimited |
| Yearly Plan | $25.00/month | Once a year | $300 | Unlimited |
| Premium MAX | $41.67/month | Once a year | About $500 | Unlimited, premium AI models |
The up-front column is our arithmetic from the listed monthly figures ($83.33 × 3 and $41.67 × 12), so the exact checkout amount may differ by a few cents or include tax. Final Round's plans page also offers a "today's discount" once you sign in, and its FAQ mentions limited-time promotions for job seekers, students and returning users, so your quote can come in below list price. What each Final Round AI plan includes
The free plan
The free plan is for organizing your search. Final Round lists unlimited Goals with your résumé and materials, job description parsing with a prep checklist, interview prep management, a basic AI interview report and the desktop app for macOS 14.4 or later and Windows. Live sessions are not included, and practice interviews are listed as a paid-plan feature.
Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly
These are the same paid plan at three billing periods. Across Final Round's plans page and main pricing card, the paid plan lists:
- Unlimited live Interview CoPilot sessions
- An advanced AI interview report, which the main pricing card describes as automatic AI debriefs
- All interview types, including coding, HireVue and phone interviews
- Practice interviews, with eight scenarios listed on its site: general, coding, system design, behavioral, product case, data/ML, salary negotiation and recruiter screen
- The full question bank, listed as 10,000+ questions
- Screen help with auto-capture, which reads a problem on your screen
- Standard AI models
The Yearly Plan adds priority support. Apart from that, the features don't change between billing periods, so the only real decision is how long you expect to need it.
Premium MAX
Premium MAX is billed yearly and keeps everything above, but replaces the standard models with premium AI models, adds early access to new AI features and adds "Priority+" support with a response time under one hour. The plans page doesn't say which models are standard and which are premium. If model quality is your reason to upgrade, ask support which models each tier uses before you spend about $500.
Is there a Final Round AI free trial?
No. Final Round's pricing card says there is no free trial and that live sessions need an active paid subscription. The free plan shows you the app and the prep workflow, but you can't hear how the live copilot handles a real question until you pay at least $150 for a month.
If you decide to buy a month as an evaluation, plan the test around the refund rules below:
- Test in the first 72 hours. The money-back window closes three days after the charge.
- Keep test sessions short. Two sessions of more than 30 minutes each count as "substantial use" and end your refund eligibility for that billing period.
- Test the formats you'll face. Run one coding problem, one system design question and one behavioral question in a practice call with a friend.
- Set a reminder before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next charge but doesn't refund the current one.
Final Round AI refund and cancellation policy
Final Round's Refund Policy and Terms of Use, both last updated October 8, 2026, describe a 3-day (72-hour) money-back guarantee with these conditions:
- Deadline: email your request within 72 hours of the charge. The deadline is met when you send the email, not when support replies.
- Plans covered: initial and renewal charges on all subscription plans, including monthly, quarterly and annual.
- Usage limit: no substantial use in the current billing period, defined as at least two interview sessions that each lasted more than 30 minutes.
- Once per customer, across all accounts and plans. A declined request doesn't use it up.
- Fees: for Stripe payments, the refund is reduced by processing fees Stripe doesn't return, where the law allows.
- After 72 hours, payments are final except for billing errors, legal requirements and case-by-case approvals for verified technical problems on accounts without substantial use.
One inconsistency is worth knowing. The FAQ on the plans page says the guarantee covers only first-time Quarterly and Yearly purchases and that monthly plans, renewals and upgrades are non-refundable. The dated Refund Policy and Terms say monthly plans and renewals are covered. If the refund matters to your decision, email Final Round's support and get the answer in writing before you subscribe. The full text is on the Final Round AI refund policy page.
To cancel, go to Settings, then Account & Billing, then Manage subscription, and do it before the renewal date. Cancelling stops future charges, keeps the current period and is not a refund request; that has to be emailed separately.
What Final Round AI costs per interview: three example schedules
Billing periods make sticker prices hard to compare, so here is the arithmetic for three schedules we made up. Each assumes one-hour interviews, the cheapest Final Round plan that covers the whole period, list prices, and no tax or discounts.
| Example schedule | Cheapest Final Round AI plan | Total | Per interview |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. One interview next week | Monthly Plan | $150 | $150 |
| 2. Eight interviews over 6 weeks | Quarterly Plan | About $250 | About $31 |
| 3. Twenty interviews over 3 months | Quarterly Plan | About $250 | About $12.50 |
Three patterns stand out:
- Short bursts are expensive. One interview costs the same $150 as a month of daily use, because there is no hourly or pay-as-you-go option.
- Quarterly wins once you'd need a second month. Two monthly payments come to $300, more than one quarter at about $250.
- Yearly costs only about $50 more than a quarter. At $300, the Yearly Plan is the better bet if there's a real chance your search runs past three months, but it's the largest single charge and the refund window is still 3 days.
Our guide to how much an AI interview assistant costs explains how to run the same math for any tool, including session caps and credits.
Final Round AI vs CoPilot Interview on price
This table compares price structure only. Final Round figures were checked October 14, 2026, and CoPilot Interview's are from our pricing page. Disclosure: we make CoPilot Interview.
| CoPilot Interview | Final Round AI | |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | Best choice: 15 minutes every day, sessions up to 15 minutes, all four modes including Mock Interview, no card | Preparation tools only; live sessions and practice interviews are on paid plans |
| Cheapest monthly price | Best choice: Standard $14.99/mo (sale; regular $19.99) | $150.00/mo |
| Yearly | Standard $99.99, Pro $199.99, Pro+ $249.99 | $300 (Yearly), about $500 (Premium MAX) |
| Pay as you go | Best choice: 1 hour $5.99, 5 hours $19.99, 15 hours $34.99; never expire | Not offered |
| Refund | Best choice: 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of a new subscription, if under 30 minutes of live session time was used | 3 days, once per customer, no substantial use |
| Example schedules 1 / 2 / 3, per interview | $5.99 / $3.75 / $2.25 | $150 / about $31 / about $12.50 |
| Desktop app | Windows 10+, macOS 12+ | Windows, macOS 14.4+ |
CoPilot Interview's per-interview figures use a 1-hour pack for schedule 1 and the Standard plan for two months ($29.98) and three months ($44.97). Standard allows 60-minute sessions spaced 2 hours apart; if your rounds run longer or back to back, Pro at $29.99 a month gives 70-minute sessions with no gap, which doubles those totals.
Where Final Round is stronger: its paid plan bundles one of the broadest practice suites in this category, with eight named scenarios and automatic debriefs. If you'll use that suite every week for months, $300 for a year is reasonable value. Where CoPilot Interview costs less: short searches, single interviews and practicing before you pay anything. Our CoPilot Interview vs Final Round AI comparison covers features, and the Final Round AI review covers what the product does.
Whichever tool you pick, follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan.
Before you buy: a five-point checklist
- Price the whole search, not the month. Estimate how many weeks you'll be interviewing and pick the billing period from the schedules above.
- Sign in before you compare. The plans page shows a personal discount after sign-in, so compare your actual quote, not the list price.
- Get refund answers in writing. The plans-page FAQ and the dated Refund Policy disagree about monthly plans and renewals.
- Practice before you pay. A free AI mock interview shows you what spoken-answer practice feels like at no cost, and the AI interview assistant comparison lists which tools let you test live answers for free.
- Diary the renewal. Every paid plan renews automatically until you cancel in Settings.
Practice free before you pay for any plan
CoPilot Interview's free plan gives you 15 minutes every day, including scored Mock Interviews built from your résumé and the job description. No credit card and no signup to start, on Windows or macOS.
