The best CoPrep alternative for most job seekers is CoPilot Interview, because it gives you 15 free minutes every day instead of a one-time batch of free credits, costs $29.99 a month for unlimited sessions on Pro against CoPrep AI's $60 a month, and has a 14-day money-back guarantee where CoPrep's subscriptions are non-refundable. CoPrep AI is still a reasonable pick if you want one account for interviews and job-search chores like cover letters, LinkedIn edits and application tracking.
We make CoPilot Interview, so read this critically. Every CoPrep AI fact below comes from coprep.ai, checked in October 2026. Where its site doesn't publish something, we say so.
What CoPrep AI is
CoPrep AI (coprep.ai) describes itself as an AI interview assistant that gives real-time answers during live interviews. Its site credits the product to Verexa Technologies Inc. Around that core it sells a wide set of career tools in one account:
- Interview tools: the live Interview Assistant, voice mock interviews and an interview question bank.
- Résumé and profile tools: résumé analyzer and builder, LinkedIn profile optimizer, headshot generator and cover letter generator.
- Job-search tools: a job explorer, a job-search email generator, an application autofiller and an application tracker.
It runs in a browser, on a phone (using the phone's microphone, with typed or camera-captured questions as a fallback) and as an optional desktop app for macOS and Windows. Its desktop page says Linux and some older Windows versions aren't fully supported, but it doesn't list exact versions.
Its mock interview is spoken: you set the job title, level, company and round (screening, technical, case study, behavioral or final), answer a speaking AI interviewer, then generate feedback with scores, strengths and areas to improve, plus a transcript.
CoPrep AI pricing (as of October 2026)
From the CoPrep AI pricing page, checked October 2026. New accounts get 20 free credits, and for the Interview Assistant 1 credit equals 1 minute. The page also showed a limited-time 20%-off code, so we list both prices.
| Plan | What you get | List price | With the 20%-off offer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter credits | 120 credits (2 hours of Interview Assistant) | $18 | $14.40 |
| Pro credits | 360 credits (6 hours) | $36 | $28.80 |
| Elite credits | 840 credits (14 hours) | $63 | $50.40 |
| Unlimited, weekly | Unlimited Interview Assistant and mock interviews | $30/week | Not shown |
| Unlimited, monthly | Same | $60/month | Not shown |
| Unlimited, quarterly | Same | $150/quarter | Not shown |
Purchased credits never expire. On unlimited plans, the résumé, cover letter and other career tools still use account credits where a credit cost applies.
Why people look for a CoPrep alternative
These are reasons you can check on CoPrep AI's own pages. We don't repeat user complaints.
- The free credits run out. 20 free credits is about 20 minutes of the Interview Assistant, once. After that you buy credits or subscribe.
- Subscriptions are non-refundable. Its refund policy (updated September 29, 2026) says subscription charges, renewals included, are non-refundable. Only unused purchased credits can be refunded, and only if you ask within 7 calendar days.
- Unlimited costs $60 a month. The weekly plan is $30, so two weeks of interviews cost as much as a month.
- Plans renew automatically. Weekly, monthly and quarterly plans renew until you cancel. That's normal, but a weekly plan renews fast if you forget.
- Some details are unclear. The site gives two different language counts (more than 70 in one place, 100+ in another) and doesn't list supported desktop OS versions.

Final Round AI
The closest match if you like CoPrep's all-in-one approach: a broad paid suite with practice interviews, live help and debriefs, from $25 a month billed annually or $150 month to month, per our comparison. Live sessions need a paid plan. See CoPilot Interview vs Final Round AI.
SubcueAI and 360Interview.ai
A free, no-account practice site (360Interview.ai) from the team behind SubcueAI, a live assistant with apps for macOS, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android. Starter is free with 50 credits a month; Pro is $20 a month. See the 360Interview alternative page.

Flat-rate unlimited at $30 a month or $144 a year, which undercuts CoPrep's $60 monthly plan if unlimited time is what you want. See the InterviewMan alternative page.
HuddleMate
No subscription at all: $9.99 per hour of active use, minutes that never expire, and 5 free minutes per hour. It has no mock interview mode. See the HuddleMate alternative page.
Parakeet AI

How to switch from CoPrep, or try both side by side
- Cancel renewal before the next billing date if you're on a CoPrep subscription. Its pricing page says your plan stays active through the current period. If you bought credits in the last 7 days and haven't used them, you can ask support@coprep.ai about a refund.
- Install CoPilot Interview. Download it for Windows 10+ or macOS 12+, unzip and run it. No signup is needed to start.
- Run the same mock interview in both. Use the same job description and answer the same questions out loud. Compare the feedback: does it tell you what to fix, and does it show a better answer? Our Mock Interview gives a score out of 10, what to fix and a model answer for each question.
- Try the browser version. The free AI mock interview runs with nothing to install, with 113 real questions across 9 tracks.
- Check the rules before live use. Follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan.
