What public sources say about each
- InterviewPal. Software directories describe a question bank of over 20,000 questions, an AI coach that reviews practice answers, résumé and cover letter tools, and a copilot for Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Pricing reports conflict across listings, from about $5 to $20 a month, so check the vendor's own page.
- ScreenApp Interview Copilot. ScreenApp's own feature pages describe real-time transcription with answer suggestions, transcription latency under two seconds, and support for Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and Webex. It sits inside a broader recording and note-taking product.
- WiseWhisper. Its AlternativeTo listing describes a lightweight Windows desktop app giving real-time suggestions with keyboard shortcuts, a limited free version and subscriptions of roughly $29 to $65 a month. We could not find independent reviews.
- ApplicantAlly. Listed as a real-time assistant that uses your résumé and target job, with native Windows and macOS apps and a browser-based web app.
- Interview Ninja. Its help centre describes live answers that capture audio from both sides, a free trial of four 15-minute mock interviews, and no refunds for the current billing period after cancellation.
- Neenja AI. A Product Hunt launch describing live answer suggestions during online interviews for graduates and experienced candidates; no pricing or company details were public.
- YoodaAI. Known mainly from a payments-provider directory listing that describes résumé-tailored suggestions on Zoom, Meet and Teams in over 30 languages. Do not confuse it with Yoodli, an established communication-coaching product.

How to evaluate a little-known copilot
- Find the company behind it. A named company, address and support contact matter for refunds and data requests.
- Read the privacy policy for what happens to audio and transcripts. See privacy policies compared.
- Check refund and cancellation terms before paying.
- Test with a friend on the free tier: latency, caption accuracy and whether it hears desktop meeting apps.
- Be wary of concealment marketing. Several small tools sell features aimed at hiding them from interviewers. Whether any tool is acceptable in a live round is the employer's decision, and a tool built around concealment is a sign the vendor is not thinking about your risk.
Why small tools come and go
Building a basic copilot is now quick: speech-to-text and language model APIs do the heavy lifting. That is why so many appear, and why many disappear within a year. Longevity matters more than it seems — a tool that shuts down mid-subscription rarely refunds, and its data handling becomes unknowable. Our state of the market report and honest top ten cover the established options.
Where CoPilot Interview fits

We would rather you compare us with these tools on a free plan than take our word for it.
Disclosure: CoPilot Interview is our product, so weigh what we say about it accordingly. Everything else on this page applies whichever tool you use, or none.
Frequently asked questions
What is InterviewPal?

Yes. ScreenApp, a recording and note-taking platform, has an Interview Copilot feature that its own pages describe as real-time transcription with answer suggestions for Zoom, Meet, Teams and Webex.
How do I choose between small AI interview copilots?
Check who runs the company, read the privacy and refund policies, test the free tier with a friend for latency and caption accuracy, and avoid tools built around concealment.
