InterviewFox vs Final Round AI, in short: InterviewFox is the cheaper way to start, with unlimited free 10-minute sessions, Pro at $49 month to month and pay-as-you-go credits from $58 for 500 minutes, and it shows answers on a paired phone. Final Round AI costs $150 month to month (or $25 a month billed yearly as $300) with no free live sessions, but it has the broader practice suite with automatic debriefs and a 3-day money-back guarantee that also covers monthly plans. Prices are as of October 2026.
We make CoPilot Interview, a competing product, and include it as a third option near the end. InterviewFox facts come from its homepage pricing cards, credit-pack page and refund policy, read October 17, 2026. Final Round AI facts come from its pricing card and refund policy, read October 17, 2026, with plan prices from its plans page as recorded in our Final Round AI pricing guide (checked October 14, 2026).
The verdict: which to pick
- Pick InterviewFox if you want to try live help free before paying, you have only a few interviews (credits beat a $150 month), or you specifically want answers on a phone rather than on the computer running your call.
- Pick Final Round AI if you want structured practice in many interview formats with a debrief after each session, you want a refund window on a monthly plan, or you expect to search for most of a year (its $300 Yearly plan is cheaper than InterviewFox Pro annual at $348).
- Practice first either way. A free, scored AI mock interview in your browser shows what to fix before you pay for live help.

What a search costs on each
Our arithmetic from the listed prices, picking the cheapest option that covers each case, before tax or discounts:
| Your situation | InterviewFox | Final Round AI |
|---|---|---|
| One interview next week | Free 10-minute sessions to test, then a $58 credit pack (500 minutes) | $150 (one month) |
| Six weeks of interviews | $117 (Pro quarterly) | About $250 (Quarterly) |
| Three months | $117 (Pro quarterly) | About $250 (Quarterly) |
| A full year | $348 (Pro annual) | $300 (Yearly) |
InterviewFox is cheaper for anything up to about six months. Over a full year, Final Round AI's Yearly plan costs $48 less than InterviewFox Pro annual.
Where the answers appear: phone vs desktop window
This is the biggest practical difference. InterviewFox's dual-device mode runs the interview on your computer, captures the computer's system audio so it hears the interviewer, and shows the suggested answer on your paired phone; it says this works even with headphones. Final Round's Interview CoPilot runs as a desktop app on the same computer as your call and streams a short suggested answer seconds after each question. For phone screens with no video call, Final Round says you can run it on another device.
Which is better depends on how you sit on camera. Glancing down at a phone can look different from glancing at a second window on the same screen, so try both on a recorded practice call. Our guide to how real-time interview assistants work explains what to test.
Both vendors also list coding-assessment sites among their supported platforms. We don't recommend using any assistant during an assessment. Take the assessment yourself and follow the employer's rules — use CoPilot Interview to practice beforehand.
Practice and prep: chat agent vs in-app suite
InterviewFox puts prep in a chat. Its AI interview agent, part of Elite, works over WhatsApp or SMS (SMS is US only) and tailors résumés and cover letters, researches companies, runs mock interviews with feedback after each answer and reviews interviews afterwards. Its agent page offers a three-day guest experience before you link the conversation to your account.
Final Round AI keeps prep in the app. Paid plans list practice interviews in eight scenarios (general, coding, system design, behavioral, product case, data/ML, salary negotiation and recruiter screen), a question bank listed at 10,000+ questions and an AI debrief written automatically when each session ends. The free plan adds goals, job-description parsing and a prep checklist.
If you want a score for every answer, look at the report from a practice session before you pay for a longer plan.

Who each one fits
InterviewFox fits you if you want a free tier you can use more than once, you'd rather buy minutes than a month, you want answers on a phone, or you like doing prep in WhatsApp. It fits less well if you need published operating-system support or a refundable monthly plan.
Final Round AI fits you if you want a full practice suite with debriefs, a refund window on a monthly plan, or a year of access for $300. It fits less well if you have one or two interviews, since there's no pay-as-you-go option, or if your Mac can't run macOS 14.4.
A third option: CoPilot Interview
CoPilot Interview is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+ that runs in its own window beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. It shows live captions of the question and a structured answer in about 2 seconds, and its Mock Interview scores each spoken answer out of 10 with what to fix and a model answer, then gives you a report card. The free plan gives 15 minutes every day with all four modes, and it's not affiliated with Microsoft, GitHub Copilot or Final Round AI's Interview CoPilot.
