InterviewFox Review (2026): Pricing, Features and Alternatives

What InterviewFox does, what it costs as of October 2026, its refund terms, who it suits and the tools to compare it with.

InterviewFox review, in short: InterviewFox is a real-time AI interview assistant from Datafox, LLC that listens to the interviewer through your computer and shows suggested answers on your phone, plus a separate prep agent you chat with on WhatsApp or SMS. As of October 2026 it has a free tier of unlimited 10-minute sessions and paid plans from $29 a month (billed $348 a year) to $49 month to month. It's a reasonable pick if you specifically want answers on a second device; it's a weaker one if you want a refundable monthly plan or a scored practice tool.

We make CoPilot Interview, a competing product, so read this with that in mind. Every InterviewFox fact below comes from InterviewFox's own website, checked on October 15, 2026. We did not buy a plan, and we left out the user counts and success rates on its site because they are the vendor's own unaudited figures.

What InterviewFox is

In its own words, InterviewFox is one assistant for live answers, coding interviews, interview prep and post-interview review. Its about page says the company behind it is Datafox, LLC, incorporated in Wyoming, United States, founded in 2025 by Aaron Zheng, with a founding team from Alibaba, ByteDance and Zoom.

The product has two parts:

The defining design choice is what it calls dual-device mode: the interview runs on your computer and the suggested answers appear on a paired phone. InterviewFox markets this as a way to keep answers off the interview computer entirely. It says you can wear headphones, because it listens to system audio rather than the room. The site does not publish a list of supported operating systems for the computer side; its structured data describes the product as a web application.

InterviewFox features (as the vendor lists them)

This table covers only what InterviewFox shows on its own pages, with a note on what to check before you rely on each feature.

FeatureWhat InterviewFox says it doesWhat to check
Real-time answersDetects live questions, works out the intent and drafts an answer from your résumé, knowledge base and interview contextHow well it handles long, multi-part questions in your field
Auto answer modeGenerates answers without you copying or selecting the questionWhether it fires on small talk or your own answers
Coding assistantWrites code, explains the approach, helps with dry runs and system design questions; paid plans list unlimited screenshot analysisWhether the explanation is something you could actually say out loud
Dual-device modePairs your computer and phone; answers appear on the phoneWhether reading a phone fits how you sit on camera
Prep AgentRésumé tailoring in your own template, cover letters, company research, mock interviews with follow-ups and feedback after each answer, debriefs and thank-you draftsThe Agent is only on the Elite plan (or its 3-day trial)
Interview ContextStores your résumé, stories, target roles and answer-style preferences and reuses them across prep and live sessionsWhat you're comfortable storing with a third party
Languages35+ interview languages, including Indian English and Brazilian PortugueseYour exact language and accent in a test session
Call apps namedZoom, Google Meet and Microsoft TeamsRun a short test call on the app your interview uses

Two things the site does not publish: a measured response time (it says "milliseconds," without a test method) and which AI model handles which plan beyond the model names on the pricing cards. The annual plans list a larger set of flagship models from several AI labs than the monthly and quarterly plans.

InterviewFox also lists several coding-assessment sites among its compatible platforms. We don't recommend using any assistant during an assessment. Take the assessment yourself and follow the employer's rules — use CoPilot Interview to practice beforehand.

InterviewFox pricing (as of October 2026)

InterviewFox has two paid tiers, Pro and Elite, each sold monthly, quarterly or yearly, either as a renewing subscription or as a one-time pass. These figures are from the InterviewFox pricing section, checked October 15, 2026, in USD.

Refunds. The InterviewFox refund policy (last updated August 15, 2026) says monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable. A first-time quarterly or annual purchase may be refunded within 7 days if it hasn't been substantially used, which it defines as more than 10 minutes of Interview Assistant use or a substantial Agent task. Renewals and upgrades are generally non-refundable, and credit packs can be refunded within 7 days only if none of the credits were used. For comparison, CoPilot Interview offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of a new subscription if you've used under 30 minutes of live session time (see our refund policy).

Who InterviewFox fits, and who it doesn't

A good fit if you

Look elsewhere if you

Whatever you choose, follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use an AI interview tool only to practice, which works on CoPilot Interview's free plan.

InterviewFox vs CoPilot Interview. The biggest difference is where answers appear: InterviewFox puts them on your phone, while CoPilot Interview runs as its own desktop window beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet and shows a structured answer in about 2 seconds. CoPilot Interview's free plan gives 15 minutes every day; InterviewFox's gives unlimited 10-minute sessions. On price, CoPilot Interview Standard is $14.99 a month with 60-minute sessions and up to 100 minutes a day, against InterviewFox Pro at $49 month to month. For practice, CoPilot Interview's AI mock interview reads each question aloud, scores your spoken answer out of 10 with what to fix and a model answer, and ends with a report card. CoPilot Interview is not affiliated with Microsoft.

If you're still comparing categories, our guides on how to choose an AI interview copilot and how real-time interview assistants work explain what to test in any trial. We've also reviewed Beyz AI, InterviewBee and LiveInterview AI.

FAQ

Is InterviewFox free?

Partly. As of October 2026, InterviewFox's FAQ says every free user gets unlimited 10-minute sessions, and you can start without a credit card. Longer sessions and the larger model list need a paid plan, and the AI interview Agent is part of Elite, with a separate three-day free trial.

How much does InterviewFox cost?

As of October 2026, Pro costs $49 month to month, $39 a month billed quarterly ($117) or $29 a month billed yearly ($348). Elite, which adds the AI interview agent, costs $99, $79 a month quarterly ($237) or $59 a month yearly ($708). One-time passes start at $69 for a month of Pro.

Is InterviewFox legit?

It is a real, working product. Its about page names the company as Datafox, LLC, incorporated in Wyoming and founded in 2025 by Aaron Zheng, and it publishes terms of service, a privacy policy and a refund policy. The user counts and success rate on its site are the vendor's own figures and are not independently audited.

Does InterviewFox offer refunds?

Only in limited cases. Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable. A first-time quarterly or annual purchase may be refunded within 7 days if you haven't used more than 10 minutes of the Interview Assistant, and credit packs within 7 days only if no credits were used.

How does InterviewFox's dual-device mode work?

Your interview runs on your computer, InterviewFox captures the computer's system audio so it hears the interviewer, and the suggested answers appear on your paired phone. The vendor says headphones work because it listens to system audio rather than your microphone.

InterviewFox vs CoPilot Interview: which should I choose?

Choose InterviewFox if you specifically want answers on a phone and a WhatsApp prep agent. Choose CoPilot Interview if you want a lower monthly price ($14.99 Standard), 15 free minutes every day, a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment, and a Mock Interview that scores each spoken answer out of 10. We make CoPilot Interview, so test both on a practice call.
