CoPilot Interview plans explained in one line: Free ($0) is for daily practice, Standard ($14.99/mo on sale, regular $19.99) is for full-length interviews, Pro ($29.99/mo) and Pro+ ($49.99/mo) remove the daily limit and add stronger AI models, and Pro Annual ($199.99/year) is Pro for a long search. Buy against the limit you actually hit, which for most people is the 15-minute session cap on the free plan.

CoPilot Interview plans explained: the plans side by side
Three things differ between plans: how long one session can run, how many minutes you get a day, and which AI models you can use. The desktop app, its four modes and the call apps it runs beside (Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet) are the same on every plan.
| Plan | Price | Session length | Daily minutes | AI models |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 forever, no account or card | Up to 15 minutes | 15 minutes a day | Fast free models |
| Standard | $14.99/mo (sale; regular $19.99) | 60 minutes | Up to 100 minutes a day, no gap between sessions | Free models, plus Dual AI Mode |
| Pro | $29.99/mo | 70 minutes | No daily cap, no gap between sessions | ChatGPT and Gemini models, multi-model Dual AI |
| Pro+ | $49.99/mo | 70 minutes | No daily cap, no gap between sessions | Adds Claude models |
| Pro Annual | $199.99/year | 70 minutes | No daily cap, no gap between sessions | All Pro models |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Every plan, including Free, has all four modes: Candidate Mode for live help, Mock Interview, Interviewer Mode for hiring managers, and the Resume Builder. Dual AI Mode shows two models' answers side by side.
Which CoPilot Interview plan should I buy?
Free: if you're practicing
Stay on Free while you prepare. You get 15 minutes every day, all four modes and no expiry. It's real practice time, not a trial. Download, unzip and run the app; there's no account to create. Details in Is CoPilot Interview free?
Standard: if your interviews run longer than 15 minutes
Most real interviews last 30 to 60 minutes, and a free session stops at 15. Standard gives you 60-minute sessions and up to 100 minutes a day, with no gap between sessions, for $14.99/mo (sale; regular $19.99). This is the usual first upgrade.
Pro: if you have back-to-back rounds
Pro ($29.99/mo) removes the 100-minute daily cap, stretches sessions to 70 minutes and adds ChatGPT and Gemini models with multi-model Dual AI. Pick it for onsite-style days with several rounds, or when you want stronger models on technical questions.
Pro+: if you want Claude models too
Pro+ ($49.99/mo) keeps Pro's limits and adds Claude models. Pick it if you want the widest model choice on hard system design and algorithm questions. If you don't know you need it, start with Pro.
Pro Annual: if your search will last most of a year
Pro Annual is Pro billed yearly at $199.99. It pays off once you'd otherwise keep Pro for 7 months or more (see the math below).
Enterprise: if you're buying for a team
Seats, rollout support and procurement terms are quoted per organization. Start on the enterprise page; hiring teams usually want Interviewer Mode.
How many minutes do you need? Worked examples
Count the minutes, not the features. These examples we wrote use each plan's published limits.
| Your week | Minutes needed | Smallest plan that fits | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily practice, 10 to 15 minutes | 15 a day | Free | Fits the 15-minute daily allowance |
| One 30-minute recruiter screen | 30 in one session | Standard | Free sessions stop at 15 minutes |
| One 45-minute interview | 45 in one session | Standard | Fits a 60-minute session |
| Three 30-minute interviews in one day | 90 a day | Standard | Under the 100-minute daily limit |
| A 60-minute and a 45-minute round on the same day | 105 a day | Pro | Over Standard's 100 minutes a day |
| A four-round onsite, 60 minutes each | 240 a day | Pro | No daily cap; each round fits a 70-minute session |
| A 75-minute technical round | 75 in one go | Pro | Start a second session right away when the first 70 minutes end |
When is the free plan enough?
For preparation, often. Free covers:
- Mock Interview. It builds questions from your résumé and the job description, reads them aloud, scores each spoken answer out of 10 with what worked, what to fix and a model answer, and ends with a report card. Our mock interview guide walks through the settings.
- The Resume Builder, which tailors your résumé to a job URL and drafts a referral message.
- Short live sessions of up to 15 minutes.
If you don't want to install anything yet, the browser AI mock interview is free too, with 113 real questions across 9 tracks.
Free stops being enough when a single session must run past 15 minutes. That's the only reason most people need to pay.
Follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan.
Is Pro Annual worth it?
It depends on how long you'll keep Pro. Paying Pro monthly costs $29.99 a month, so:
- 6 months of Pro monthly: $179.94, less than Pro Annual's $199.99.
- 7 months of Pro monthly: $209.93, more than Pro Annual.
- 12 months of Pro monthly: $359.88, which is $159.89 more than Pro Annual.
So Pro Annual is the cheaper way to get Pro if you expect to need it for 7 months or longer, for example a long search or regular interviewing on the hiring side. For a 4- to 8-week search, pay monthly and cancel when you're done.
If Standard's limits suit you, a year of Standard at the current $14.99 sale price ($179.88) still costs less than Pro Annual, but keeps the 100-minute daily cap and doesn't include Pro's models.
