The best Yoodli alternatives for interview prep are CoPilot Interview if you want each spoken answer scored out of 10 with a model answer, Huru if you want unlimited free AI mock interviews on the web or an iPhone, and Big Interview if you want a full course with video feedback on how you come across. Yoodli itself is now an AI roleplay platform sold mainly to sales and training teams; its free Starter plan allows up to 5 roleplays in total, and Pro costs $8 a month billed annually as of October 2026.
The difference that matters for a job seeker is what gets scored. Delivery feedback tells you how you sounded. Interview practice also needs to tell you whether the answer itself was any good: did it answer the question, was the story specific, what would a stronger version say. Every tool below does some of that. We make CoPilot Interview, so every competitor fact here comes from the vendor's own site, with the date we checked it.

What Yoodli is, and why people look for a Yoodli alternative
Yoodli's homepage now calls it "the AI Platform for Human Skills" for revenue teams, learning and development, and training companies. Its examples are sales roleplays, scored on things like discovery questions and objection handling. Individuals can still use it: the Yoodli pricing page lists interview prep, public speaking and pitch practice for individuals, with three plans as of October 2026:
- Starter, $0: up to 5 roleplays in total, live AI roleplays and feedback on uploaded recordings, no credit card.
- Pro, $8 a month billed annually: up to 10 roleplays a week; unused roleplays don't roll over.
- Advanced, $20 a month billed annually: unlimited roleplays, and your data is excluded from AI training.
The same page says "Yoodli does not offer refunds on cancellation." Cancelling stops the renewal, and you keep access until the end of the billing period. Business and Enterprise plans are priced per seat through a demo.
The reasons job seekers compare alternatives are specific and checkable:
- The product is built for workplace training. The homepage, examples and integrations are aimed at sales teams and company programs, not at someone with an interview next Thursday.
- The free plan is 5 roleplays for the life of the account. That's enough to judge the feedback style, not to prepare for a loop.
- No refunds. If an annual plan turns out to be the wrong fit, you can't get the money back.
- Interview-specific depth. If you want questions drawn from your résumé and the job description, or coding and system design questions, you need a tool built around interviews.

The 7 best Yoodli alternatives, reviewed
1. CoPilot Interview: best for scored answers from your résumé and the job
CoPilot Interview is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+ built around interviews. Its Mock Interview mode is the part that replaces Yoodli for interview prep: you add your résumé and the job description, choose the level, 3, 5 or 8 questions and the mix (behavioral, technical, system design, coding), and the app reads each question aloud. You answer out loud, and each answer is scored out of 10 with what worked, what to fix and a model answer, then you get a report card for the whole session.
Strengths:
- It scores the content of the answer and shows a stronger version, which is the gap most delivery coaches leave open.
- A real free plan: 15 minutes every day, sessions up to 15 minutes, all four modes, no account and no card. It isn't a trial.
- Coding questions use your chosen language and never auto-submit, so you can think in silence.
- The browser AI mock interview has 113 real questions across 9 tracks with nothing to install.
- Standard is $14.99/mo (sale; regular $19.99) with 60-minute sessions, up to 100 minutes a day and no gap between sessions. New subscriptions have a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment if you used under 30 minutes of live session time (refund policy).
Limits: no human coach or human feedback, no video recording or body-language feedback, and no Linux app; the phone companion is an Android beta outside Google Play. AI answers can be wrong, so practice in your own words. It also has a live Candidate Mode for real calls. Follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan.
2. Huru: best for unlimited free practice on video
Huru is free for job seekers, with no subscription, according to its homepage in October 2026. You can run a live AI interview that asks follow-up questions (5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes, with three interviewer styles and three pressure levels), or practice question by question, on video or audio only.
Strengths: unlimited mock interviews, a score out of 100 for every answer based on relevance, structure, specificity, impact and articulation, a library of 50,000+ questions, a Chrome extension that turns a job post into an interview, and five languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French). There's an iPhone app.
Limits: no native Android app (Android users use the web app), all feedback is AI, and its pages don't describe a code editor for coding rounds. See our Huru review or Huru vs Yoodli.
3. Big Interview: best for a course with delivery feedback
Big Interview teaches first and practices second. Its Interview Simulator runs voice-only mock interviews "just like a real phone screen," with questions personalized from your résumé or a job description and feedback on delivery and answer quality. Its VideoAI reviews recorded answers for pace, vocabulary (including filler words), eye contact and body language.
Strengths: the closest match to Yoodli's delivery coaching, plus feedback on what you said and a library of 10,000+ questions. The pricing page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Limits: no free plan or trial, only a free course. Prices as of October 2026 are $39 for a 30-day subscription, $99 for 3 months or $299 for lifetime access. We found no coding environment on its site. Read the Big Interview review.
4. Aced (formerly Exponent): best for tech-role courses plus AI mocks
Exponent renamed itself Aced in August 2026. It sells courses for product management, software engineering, system design, data and more, plus peer mock interviews and AI practice. Its rebrand post says the Expert plan's AI mock interviewer scores your answers against the criteria used in real interviews.
Strengths: deep course content and human practice partners. Basic is free with 5 peer mocks a month, and Pro includes unlimited peer mocks.
Limits: AI mock interviews are on the top plan only. Per Aced's pricing page, Pro is $79/mo or $12/mo billed annually and Expert is $99/mo or $20/mo billed annually, with full refunds only within 5 days of purchase. See our Exponent (Aced) review.
5. interviewing.io: best for technical rounds with a real engineer
If your interviews are technical, interviewing.io gives you what no delivery coach can: a senior, staff or principal engineer who makes hiring decisions at a large tech company, in an anonymous audio-and-chat session. Its FAQ says sessions start at $179 and promises a full refund if you're unhappy with your interview.
Strengths: expert human judgment, and a free AI Interviewer for coding and system design with feedback at the end.
Limits: expensive for volume, no video, and engineering subjects only. More in the interviewing.io review.
6. Hello Interview: best for system design answers
Hello Interview sells one-time Premium access to system design and coding content, including Live Practice interviews with an AI interviewer that runs a system design interview and gives a hire or no-hire decision. Its pricing page lists 1 month at $47 (regular $59) with one AI interview, 1 year at $89 (regular $119) with two, and lifetime at $299 (regular $399) with four, as of October 2026.
Limits: narrow by design, and only a few AI interviews per plan. It ended its human mock interviews and mentorship on May 31, 2026.
7. Orai: best like-for-like delivery coach on a phone
If what you liked about Yoodli was the speaking feedback, Orai is the most direct swap. It's a public-speaking app that scores filler words, pace, clarity and energy when you finish speaking, on iOS, Android and the web.
Limits: it coaches delivery, not interview content, so it won't tell you whether your answer to "why this company?" was convincing. Its site says the app downloads free but doesn't list paid-plan prices.
Which Yoodli alternative scores what you say, not just how you say it?
This is the question to settle before you pick. Delivery feedback fixes rambling and filler words. Content feedback fixes weak stories, missing results and answers that miss the question. Here is what each tool scores, based on what each vendor publishes.
| Tool | Scores answer content | Scores delivery | Shows a stronger answer |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoPilot Interview | Yes: each spoken answer out of 10, with what worked and what to fix | Not as metrics; no video analysis | Best choice: a model answer for every question |
| Huru | Yes: out of 100 on relevance, structure, specificity, impact, articulation | Articulation is part of the score; video playback | Yes: rewrites of your answers |
| Big Interview | Yes: answer quality in the simulator | Yes: pace, vocabulary, eye contact, body language | A report on what to improve |
| Aced Expert | Yes: against real interview criteria | Not described | Not described |
| interviewing.io | Yes: human feedback on technical rounds | From the interviewer, by ear | Through the interviewer's rundown |
| Orai | No | Yes: filler words, pace, clarity, energy | No |
Disclosure: we make CoPilot Interview. If you want both kinds of feedback, pair a content scorer with a delivery coach, or record yourself and play it back; our guide to how AI interview tools score answers explains what the numbers mean and where they go wrong.
How we chose these Yoodli alternatives
We didn't run paid hands-on tests of every product. We compared what each vendor publishes on its own pricing pages, homepages and FAQs, checked in October 2026, and left out user counts and success claims because they aren't independently audited. We also left out tools whose main pitch is help during live calls rather than practice, because people leaving Yoodli want a better way to rehearse.
What decided the list:
- Whether the tool scores the content of an interview answer, not only delivery.
- Whether the free option lets you do real practice, not just a sample.
- Cost over a typical 4 to 8 week job search, and the refund terms.
- Coverage of behavioral, technical, coding and system design questions.
- Platforms: desktop, web and phone.
Which Yoodli alternative should you pick?
- You have an interview in the next two weeks and want job-specific reps: CoPilot Interview. Paste the real job description and your résumé, run 5 questions a day on the free plan, and redo the lowest-scoring answer.
- You want as many free reps as possible, including on an iPhone: Huru.
- You're a new grad or career changer who wants to be taught, with camera feedback: Big Interview, and ask your college career center first in case it already licenses it.
- You're preparing for product management or a tech loop over several weeks: Aced, with annual Pro for courses and peer mocks.
- You're an engineer with a big-tech onsite coming up: do daily AI reps first, then book one or two interviewing.io sessions.
- Your only problem is filler words and pace: Orai, or keep Yoodli's free Starter roleplays for spot checks.

Which Yoodli alternative gives feedback on filler words and pace?

Is Yoodli still for job interviews?
Partly. Its homepage now focuses on roleplay training for revenue teams and company programs, but its pricing page still lists interview prep, public speaking and pitch practice for individuals. If interviews are your only goal, a tool built around interview questions will fit more closely.
