The best Interviews Chat alternatives in 2026 are CoPilot Interview if you want free practice and live help every day in a desktop app, Final Round AI if you want a broad paid practice suite, LockedIn AI if you want native phone apps, and Parakeet AI if you would rather pay by the hour. Interviews Chat itself is inexpensive (as of October 2026, $19 a month for 1,000 credits or $29 a month for unlimited use), so most people compare alternatives for the free plan, refund terms, desktop support or scored practice rather than for price.
Disclosure up front: we make CoPilot Interview, one of the eight tools below. Every competitor fact on this page comes from that vendor's own website, read between October 15 and 17, 2026, or from our comparison of the best AI interview assistants, where each price was checked on the vendor's site in October 2026.
What Interviews Chat offers (as of October 2026)
Interviews Chat (interviews.chat) is a live interview copilot plus a prep suite. Its terms name the operator as Interviews Chat LLC, a Wyoming company. During a call it listens, transcribes and suggests answers. You choose the answer format (STAR, bullet points, brief, comprehensive, or follow-up questions to ask the interviewer), and its homepage describes parallel suggestions from models made by several AI labs.
- Where it runs: a web version with nothing to install, an optional Chrome extension and a Copilot desktop app for desktop meeting apps. For phone interviews it suggests opening the web version on a second device. The site doesn't say which versions of Windows or macOS the desktop app supports.
- Call apps named: Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, "and more."
- Prep tools: AI interview practice, a mock interview with follow-up questions, an interview helper that gives feedback on transcribed answers, a tailored résumé tool and résumé feedback.
| Interviews Chat plan | Price (as of Oct 2026) | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 30 free credits, no credit card (1 credit = 1 minute of Copilot or 1 suggestion) |
| Starter | $19/month | 1,000 credits a month |
| Booster | $29/month | Unlimited credits and Copilot time |
| Pro | $69/quarter | Unlimited, billed every 3 months |
Figures are from the Interviews Chat pricing page. Its terms (effective July 16, 2026) say subscription fees are non-refundable except where the law requires it, when a purchase wasn't delivered or when you were charged twice, and that unused credits don't roll over. For the full feature rundown, read our Interviews Chat review; for a head-to-head with our app, see CoPilot Interview vs Interviews Chat.
Why people look for an Interviews Chat alternative
These are the reasons we can check against published pricing and terms. We haven't included complaints we can't verify.
- The free credits are a one-off. 30 credits is about 30 minutes of Copilot use in total. If you want to rehearse every day for several weeks, a plan with a daily free allowance goes further.
- Starter is metered. At $19 a month, a credit goes per minute or per suggestion, and unused credits don't roll over. Unlimited use starts at $29 a month.
- Subscriptions aren't refundable. If a money-back window matters to you, two of the alternatives below publish one.
- Desktop requirements aren't published. If you're on an older Mac or a locked-down work laptop, you'll want a tool that states its system requirements.
- You want scored practice. Its helper gives feedback on transcribed answers. If you want each spoken answer scored on a stated scale with a report card at the end, look for a tool that publishes that.

The 8 Interviews Chat alternatives, reviewed
1. CoPilot Interview: best overall alternative (our pick)
CoPilot Interview is a desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+, made by NeuraSense AI LLC (us). It runs in its own window beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, shows live captions of the interviewer's question and a structured answer in about 2 seconds. Dual AI Mode shows two models' answers side by side, which is the closest match to Interviews Chat's two-suggestion style. For practice, Mock Interview builds the interview from your résumé and the job description, reads each question aloud, scores your spoken answer out of 10 with what to fix and a model answer, and ends with a report card. There is also a no-install AI mock interview in your browser with 113 questions across 9 tracks.
Strengths: 15 free minutes every day with no card or signup, all four modes on the free plan (including Interviewer Mode for hiring managers and the Resume Builder), 50+ languages, hour packs that never expire ($5.99 for 1 hour, $19.99 for 5, $34.99 for 15), and a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of a new subscription if you've used under 30 minutes of live session time.
Limits: no browser-only live mode or Chrome extension, no Linux build, the phone companion is an Android beta (iPhone is coming soon), and free sessions stop at 15 minutes. CoPilot Interview is not affiliated with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot or Interviews Chat's Copilot feature.
2. Final Round AI: best for a broad paid practice suite
Final Round AI, run by Pump Labs Inc. in San Francisco, sells Interview CoPilot, a desktop app for macOS 14.4+ and Windows. Its paid plan adds practice interviews in eight scenarios (general, coding, system design, behavioral, product case, data/ML, salary negotiation and recruiter screen), automatic AI debriefs and a question bank it lists at 10,000+ questions.
Strengths: the most complete practice-and-debrief loop in this list, and a 3-day (72-hour) money-back guarantee that its refund policy (last updated October 8, 2026) applies to monthly, quarterly and annual plans, once per customer.
Limits: no free trial of live sessions, and the paid plan is $150 a month month to month, about $250 a quarter or $300 a year. Our Final Round AI pricing breakdown lists every plan, and Interviews Chat vs Final Round AI compares the two directly.
3. LockedIn AI: best for phone apps
LockedIn AI covers the most platforms of any tool here: a desktop app, a web app, a Chrome extension and native iOS and Android apps. Its free plan allows 5-minute sessions up to 60 minutes a day with no card. Paid plans are $109.98 a month (first month $43.99) or $79.98 a month billed every three months (first payment $31.99 a month), per our October 2026 comparison; its pricing page loads inside the app, so confirm at checkout.
Strengths: one account across computer and phone, and credits that don't expire. Limits: free sessions stop after 5 minutes, and monthly and quarterly plans aren't refundable once started. See our LockedIn AI review.
4. Verve AI: best free mock interviews
Verve AI has a forever-free plan with 3 copilot sessions a month of 15 minutes each, 5 AI mock interviews and 5 interview reports, with no card required. Standard is $44.99 a month ($16.99 a month billed annually) with 5 copilot sessions a month of up to 60 minutes; Pro is $84.99 a month ($34.99 billed annually) with unlimited 90-minute sessions, per the Verve AI pricing page. It has apps for Mac, Windows and iPhone and live transcription in 55+ languages.
Strengths: more free mock interviews than most tools, plus an iPhone app. Limits: 3 free live sessions a month is little for an active search, and Standard caps you at 5 sessions a month. See our Verve AI review.
5. Parakeet AI: best pay-by-the-hour option
Parakeet AI sells credits: one credit is an hour of call session or mock interview, at $38 for a single credit and down to $11.80 a credit in the 15-credit bundle ($177). Unlimited is $149.90 a month, $49.99 a month billed yearly ($599.90) or $78 a week, per the Parakeet AI pricing page. It runs as a desktop app for Windows and macOS, in desktop Chrome and in a phone browser.
Strengths: no subscription needed for a handful of interviews, and it tells users to check the rules first. Limits: single credits are expensive, and month-to-month unlimited is one of the priciest plans here. See our Parakeet AI review.
6. InterviewFox: best if you want answers on your phone
InterviewFox (Datafox, LLC) listens to your computer's system audio and shows suggested answers on a paired phone, which it calls dual-device mode. Free users get unlimited 10-minute sessions. Pro is $49 a month, $39 a month billed quarterly ($117) or $29 a month billed yearly ($348); Elite adds a WhatsApp and SMS prep agent from $99 a month. One-time credit packs start at $58 for 500 minutes, are charged by the second and never expire.
Strengths: a usable free tier and pay-as-you-go credits. Limits: monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable, and it doesn't publish supported operating systems. See our InterviewFox review or CoPilot Interview vs InterviewFox.
7. Beyz AI: best all-in-one for interviews and meetings
Beyz AI (Beyz Inc.) runs in a browser or as a desktop app for Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows that needs macOS 14+ or Windows 11 22H2+. Every paid plan includes a meeting assistant, a phone assistant and unlimited mock interviews. On beyz.ai, the Monthly plan is $49.99 and leaves out the coding assistant; God is $32.99 a month billed quarterly and Titan $24.99 a month billed every six months.
Strengths: broad coverage on one subscription and a long language list with up to two secondary languages. Limits: its terms say all subscriptions, including renewals, are non-refundable, and it doesn't publish free-plan limits. See our Beyz AI review.
8. LinkJob AI: best for a one-time purchase
LinkJob AI is a desktop copilot whose FAQ lists Windows, macOS and Linux versions. Every plan lists unlimited live help, mock interview practice and a coding copilot; what changes is the AI models. On the LinkJob AI pricing page, Monthly ($99.99) gets basic models, Quarterly ($69.99 a month, $209.97 a quarter) professional ones, Yearly ($29.99 a month, $359.88 a year) premium ones, and Lifetime is $999.99 one time.
Strengths: a Linux build and a lifetime option. Limits: at $99.99 it has one of the highest month-to-month prices here, monthly plans aren't refundable, and entry is a 30-minute trial. See our LinkJob AI review.

- You want a browser with nothing to install: Beyz AI and Parakeet AI (desktop Chrome) run in a browser, and LockedIn AI has a web app.
Whichever tool you pick, follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use an AI interview tool only to practice, which works on CoPilot Interview's free plan. If you're unsure where to start, the free interview readiness quiz shows which round types to rehearse first.
How we chose these alternatives
We compared published features, prices and terms. We didn't buy plans or run paid sessions, so we make no claims about other tools' answer quality or speed. The criteria were whether the free plan includes live help or practice, the month-to-month price, pay-as-you-go options, refund terms, platforms and practice features. We left out the user counts, ratings and success rates vendors publish about themselves, because we can't verify them.
Sources were each vendor's pricing page, homepage, FAQ and terms, read October 15–17, 2026. LockedIn AI's figures come from our October 2026 comparison. Prices change often, so confirm at checkout.
