Pick monthly unless everything you need fits inside one week. Weekly plans look cheap on the sticker and cost the most per month: $78 a week is about $338 a month, more than any monthly plan we track, and more than three months of CoPilot Interview's Standard plan.
There is one scenario where a weekly AI interview assistant plan is rational, a single final loop that starts and ends inside seven days, and even there a one-time hour pack usually beats it. Here are the prices as of October 25, 2026 and a decision table by scenario.
Weekly and monthly prices as of October 25, 2026
List prices from each vendor's pricing page on that date, in USD; not linked, and subject to change. A weekly plan costs about 4.3 times its sticker per month, because a month has about 4.3 weeks.
| Plan | Price | Per month equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Parakeet AI weekly | $78 a week | About $338 |
| Parakeet AI Unlimited monthly | $149.90 a month ($599.90 a year) | $149.90 |
| MeetAssist Unlimited Week | $19 one-time | About $80 if bought weekly |
| MeetAssist Unlimited Month | $29 | $29 |
| Cluely Pro | $19.99 a month | $19.99 |
| CoPilot Interview Standard | $24.99 a month, or $59.99 every 3 months | $24.99, or about $20 on the 3-month plan |
| CoPilot Interview hour pack | $9.99 for 1 hour, one-time | Only what you use |
The pattern holds for both weekly plans: a single week costs between two thirds and four times the vendor's own monthly price, so a second week always makes the month the better buy.
When one week is rational
A week makes sense when every round you have falls inside seven days and you are confident there will be no second loop. That describes a final onsite compressed into a week, or a company that schedules all five rounds in four days.
Even then, check two alternatives before paying weekly. First, the vendor's monthly plan: Parakeet's own month at $149.90 is less than two of its weeks. Second, a one-time pack: a five-hour final loop at CoPilot Interview's 1-hour pack rate costs just under $50 and leaves nothing to cancel, and the larger $29.99 and $49.99 packs cost less per hour (see the pricing page for the hours in each). Our cost per hour page has the formula.
When monthly wins
- Any search longer than a week. Which is almost every search. Two weekly payments already exceed most monthly prices.
- Loops that slip. Rounds get rescheduled. A week bought for Monday to Friday is wasted when the final moves to the following Tuesday.
- Back-to-back weeks. If you are interviewing with two companies, the loops rarely line up inside the same seven days. Our page on back-to-back interviews covers stacked days and the session limits that matter for them.
- You want the option to cancel. A month of CoPilot Interview Standard at $24.99 can be cancelled the same day and still runs to the end of the month.
Decision table by scenario
| Scenario | Weekly plan | Monthly plan | One-time pack | Our pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One recruiter screen | Overkill | Overkill | $9.99, or free if under 15 minutes | Free plan or 1-hour pack |
| One final loop inside a week, 4 to 5 hours | $19 to $78 | $24.99 | Just under $50 at the 1-hour rate; less with a larger pack | Pack or one month of Standard |
| 3-week loop, 6 to 8 hours | Three weeks of payments | $24.99 | Just under $80 at the 1-hour rate | Monthly |
| 3-month search | Thirteen weeks of payments | $74.97 monthly or $59.99 on a 3-month plan | Depends on hours | 3-month plan |
The only row where a weekly plan is competitive is the compressed final loop, and a $19 one-time week is the only weekly price that beats a month of Standard there. Our hour packs vs subscription page works the pack math in more detail.
Watch the renewal terms
Weekly subscriptions renew weekly, which means a forgotten cancellation costs more per month than any other plan type. A one-time week, such as MeetAssist's, does not renew; check which kind you are buying. Monthly plans renew monthly until cancelled; CoPilot Interview's 3-month plans renew every 3 months.
CoPilot Interview's 14-day money-back guarantee covers the first payment of a new subscription if under 30 minutes of live session time has been used; renewals are not covered. Whatever the plan, live help is for interviews where it is permitted, so follow your employer's rules on each round.

Frequently asked questions
Is a weekly AI interview assistant plan cheaper than monthly?
Only for a single week. A week costs about 4.3 times its sticker per month, so $78 a week is about $338 a month and $19 a week is about $80 a month. Two weekly payments already exceed most monthly plans, which run $19.99 to $29 as of October 25, 2026.
When does a one-week plan make sense?
When every round falls inside seven days with no second loop expected, such as a final onsite compressed into one week. Even then, compare it with a one-time hour pack, which costs only for the hours you use and never expires.
Does CoPilot Interview offer a weekly plan?
No. CoPilot Interview offers a free plan with 15 minutes of live help a day, one-time hour packs from $9.99 that never expire, Standard at $24.99 a month, Pro at $39.99, Pro+ at $49.99, and 3-month Standard and Pro plans.
What is the cheapest option for one final loop?
For a four to five hour loop, a one-time pack: just under $50 at CoPilot Interview's $9.99 1-hour rate, less with a larger pack, and any leftover hours never expire. A month of Standard at $24.99 is cheaper still if the loop runs past five hours.
