Interview Coder pricing, as of October 2026, has two paid plans: Monthly Pro at $299 a month, which includes 1,000 usage credits a month, and Lifetime Pro at $799 as a one-time payment. The app itself is a free download, but its AI features need one of the paid plans, so there is no free way to try the answers. Interview Coder's refund policy says all sales are final.
These figures come from the pricing section on interviewcoder.co, its FAQ, its refund and cancellation policy and its terms of service, all checked on October 14, 2026. The site's /pricing address returned a "page not found" error when we checked; the prices sit on the homepage, next to struck-through "original" prices of $499 and $1,598. Prices are in USD, which its terms say is the billing currency.
Interview Coder pricing at a glance
| Plan | Price | Billing | What's included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free download | $0 | None | Download and explore the app; AI features locked until you subscribe |
| Monthly Pro | $299 a month | Monthly subscription | 1,000 usage credits a month, audio support, all interview types, the vendor's "most powerful fine tuned AI models", 24/7 support |
| Lifetime Pro | $799 | One-time payment | Unlimited lifetime access, the same feature list and all future updates |
The two paid plans list the same features. The differences are the allowance (Monthly Pro lists 1,000 usage credits a month; Lifetime Pro lists unlimited lifetime access) and how you pay. Check the current figures in Interview Coder's pricing section before you buy.
For context, here are other vendors' month-to-month prices we checked on the same day: Final Round AI at $150.00, Parakeet AI Unlimited at $149.90 and LockedIn AI Unlimited General at $54.99, each with cheaper rates for longer billing periods. At $299 a month, Interview Coder's Monthly Pro is the highest month-to-month price of the four, while its $799 Lifetime Pro is cheaper than LockedIn AI's $999.50 lifetime plan. Our guide to AI interview assistant costs explains how those billing models compare.
What the free download includes
Interview Coder's FAQ answers the trial question directly: you can download the app and explore it for free, and AI features require a subscription. The pricing card says the same thing, "Subscribe to unlock AI features", and no credit card is needed for the download.
So the free download lets you check installation and whether the app runs on your machine, but not the quality or speed of its answers. Its refund policy points to the free download as the way to evaluate the product before buying, which leaves a gap: the part most buyers want to test is locked. If you're on an Intel Mac, read the FAQ's troubleshooting entries first, since one covers a network error on Intel Macs.
Monthly Pro vs Lifetime Pro: the break-even math
Lifetime Pro costs as much as about 2.7 months of Monthly Pro ($799 divided by $299). If you'd pay for a third month, Lifetime is cheaper:
| Months you'd need it | Monthly Pro total | Lifetime Pro total | Cheaper option |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $299 | $799 | Monthly |
| 2 | $598 | $799 | Monthly |
| 3 | $897 | $799 | Lifetime |
| 6 | $1,794 | $799 | Lifetime |
Two unknowns affect that math:
- What a usage credit buys. The pricing section lists 1,000 usage credits a month on Monthly Pro but doesn't say how many credits an answer or a session uses. Ask support how far 1,000 credits goes on a schedule like yours before you rely on it.
- What "lifetime" means in practice. Interview Coder's FAQ says one $799 payment gives lifetime access, including all future updates, with no renewals. As with any lifetime deal, its value depends on the product staying available and maintained, so a one-time payment is partly a bet on the company.
Most job searches last weeks, not years. If yours is likely to end within two months, Monthly Pro costs less even at $299 a month; if it could run longer, or you expect to interview again within a year or two, Lifetime Pro is the cheaper of the two plans.
Interview Coder refund, renewal and cancellation terms
- No refunds. The refund and cancellation policy says Interview Coder operates a no-refund policy for all purchases and that all sales are final. Its FAQ adds that if you're not satisfied, support will work with you to resolve issues, which is not a refund promise.
- The policy page describes a lifetime purchase only. It says there's no recurring billing and no cancellation needed, and it doesn't address cancelling the Monthly Pro subscription.
- The Monthly Pro card says "Cancel anytime."
- The terms of service describe automatic renewal. Unless your order says otherwise, each subscription term renews automatically unless either side gives written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before renewal, and the company reserves the right to raise fees for renewal terms.
Those documents don't line up neatly. Before paying $299, email support and get written answers to three questions: how and by when to cancel Monthly Pro so the next month isn't charged, whether the renewal price stays at $299, and how many credits a typical session uses. Keep the reply. With no refund available, that email is your only protection.
What Interview Coder costs per interview: three example schedules
Here is the arithmetic for three schedules we made up. Each assumes one-hour interviews, the cheaper of the two paid plans for that period, list prices, no tax, and that 1,000 credits a month covers the use, which the site doesn't confirm.
| Example schedule | Cheapest Interview Coder plan | Total | Per interview |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. One interview next week | Monthly Pro, 1 month | $299 | $299 |
| 2. Eight interviews over 6 weeks | Monthly Pro, 2 months | $598 | $74.75 |
| 3. Twenty interviews over 3 months | Lifetime Pro | $799 | $39.95 |
None of these amounts can be refunded, so count each one as spent the day you pay. For the way other tools price the same schedules, see our guide to how much an AI interview assistant costs.
Interview Coder vs CoPilot Interview on price
This table compares price structure only. Interview Coder figures were checked October 14, 2026, and CoPilot Interview's are from our pricing page. Disclosure: we make CoPilot Interview.
| CoPilot Interview | Interview Coder | |

| Cheapest paid option | Best choice: 1-hour pack $5.99 (5 hours $19.99, 15 hours $34.99; never expire) | Monthly Pro $299 |
| Monthly | Best choice: Standard $14.99 (sale; regular $19.99), Pro $29.99, Pro+ $49.99 | $299, with 1,000 usage credits |
| Long-term | Yearly: Standard $99.99, Pro $199.99, Pro+ $249.99 | Lifetime Pro $799, one time |
| Refund | Best choice: 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of a new subscription, if under 30 minutes of live session time was used | No refunds; all sales final |
| Example schedules 1 / 2 / 3, per interview | $5.99 / $3.75 / $2.25 | $299 / $74.75 / $39.95 |
| Practice tools | Mock Interview scored out of 10, Resume Builder, Interviewer Mode | None listed in its pricing section |
CoPilot Interview's figures use a 1-hour pack for schedule 1 and the Standard plan for two months ($29.98) and three months ($44.97). Standard allows 60-minute sessions spaced 2 hours apart; Pro at $29.99 a month gives 70-minute sessions with no gap.
Where Interview Coder is different: it sells a one-time lifetime plan, which CoPilot Interview doesn't, so if you strongly prefer paying once and never managing a subscription, that's a real distinction. Where CoPilot Interview costs less: every schedule above, plus free daily use of the AI and a refund window on new subscriptions. Its coding mode gives complete code in your chosen language with complexity and an example run. Our CoPilot Interview vs Interview Coder comparison and the Interview Coder review cover features.
Interview Coder markets itself mainly for use in live technical interviews. Whichever tool you pick, follow the rules of the employer or assessment you're in — many people use it only to practice, which works on the free plan.
Five questions to ask before you pay
- Will my schedule fit in 1,000 credits a month? Ask support what a credit is before choosing Monthly Pro.
- How do I stop the next monthly charge? The "Cancel anytime" card and the 30-day notice clause in the terms say different things.
- Does it support my machine and platforms? Install the free download on the exact computer you'll use, and check the FAQ if you're on an Intel Mac.
- How long will I realistically need it? Under two months favors Monthly Pro; longer favors Lifetime Pro.
- Can I prepare without paying at all? Structured practice such as a free AI mock interview, the coding interview cheat sheet and the AI interview assistant comparison cost nothing.
Try the AI before you pay for anything
CoPilot Interview's free plan includes 15 minutes of AI every day, with Coding mode and scored Mock Interviews in the same desktop app for Windows and macOS. No credit card and no signup to start.
