How to cancel Interview Coder: sign in at interviewcoder.co and cancel your Monthly Pro subscription from the billing tab of your dashboard, the place its help center names for cancelling, and don't expect a refund, because Interview Coder's policy says all sales are final. Those are its terms as of October 2026, from its help center, its Refund & Cancellation Policy and its Terms of Service (last updated June 10, 2025).
Lifetime Pro is a one-time payment, so there is nothing to cancel. For Monthly Pro, the terms add a clause about written notice before renewal, which is why we suggest cancelling in the dashboard and emailing written notice as well. Our Interview Coder pricing guide covers what each plan costs.
How to cancel Interview Coder, step by step
- Go to interviewcoder.co and sign in with the account you subscribed with. The help center's setup guide has you create the account on the website and sign in to the app with it, so it's the same login.
- Open your dashboard and its billing tab. The help center's "dashboard" link points to
interviewcoder.co/dashboard/profile?tab=billing. - Cancel the Monthly Pro subscription there. The help center doesn't name the button, so look for the subscription controls on the billing tab.
- Take a screenshot of the result and keep any confirmation email.
- Email written notice to abdulla@interviewcoder.com, the support contact on its help and FAQ pages: say you're cancelling and don't want the subscription to renew, and include your account email. Keep the reply.
Steps 1 to 4 are Interview Coder's own process, from the Cancel Subscription page in its help center. Step 5 is our suggestion, explained in the notice section below.
| What you bought | What to do (as of October 2026) | After that | Refund |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly Pro (listed at $299 a month) | Cancel in the dashboard billing tab, and send written notice | Active until the end of the current billing period, then no more charges | No |
| Lifetime Pro (listed at $799 one time) | Nothing: no recurring billing | Access stays, per Interview Coder | No |
| Free download | Nothing: no payment | AI features stay locked | Not applicable |
Interview Coder sells through its own website for its Mac and Windows desktop app. Its help center and terms don't describe any App Store or Google Play purchase, so there's no phone-store route to cancel.
The 30-day written-notice clause
Interview Coder's documents don't line up neatly, and that's worth knowing before your next renewal:
- The help center and pricing card describe a self-serve cancel ("Cancel anytime" on the plan card) with no notice period.
- The Terms of Service, section 8.1, say that unless your order form says otherwise, each subscription term renews automatically unless either side gives written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the renewal. The same clause lets Interview Coder raise fees for renewal terms and charge your payment method for each renewal until you cancel.
- The refund policy page describes only the lifetime deal and says no cancellation is needed. It doesn't mention Monthly Pro.
The documents don't say which rule wins for a monthly plan bought online. With no refunds available, the safe approach is to do both: cancel in the dashboard and send written notice by email, as early in the billing period as you can, and keep both records. The terms also give a postal address for notices: 520 Bryant St, San Francisco, CA 94107, attention Legal Department.
What happens after you cancel Interview Coder
- You keep access until the period ends. The help center says your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and you can use all features until it expires.
- No further charges. You won't be charged again after cancelling.
- The app stays, the AI doesn't. The download is free, but its FAQ says AI features require a subscription, monthly or lifetime.
- Unused credits. Monthly Pro lists 1,000 usage credits a month. Interview Coder doesn't say what happens to unused credits when you cancel, so don't count on them carrying over.
Deleting your account and data
Interview Coder's privacy policy says you can cancel your account through your account page, after which personal information tied to it is deleted as soon as reasonably practical or as the law requires. You can also ask to review, correct or delete your personal information by emailing abdulla@interviewcoder.com from the address on your account; it may verify your identity first.
Interview Coder refund policy in plain words
Interview Coder's position is short: "Interview Coder operates on a no-refund policy for all purchases", and all sales are final. The reasons it gives are that the offering is a lifetime deal and that a free download lets you check the app and its compatibility before you buy.
Its FAQ adds that if you're not satisfied, support will work with you to resolve issues. That's an offer of help, not a refund promise. In practice:
- Count any payment as spent the day you make it, whether it's $299 for a month or $799 for Lifetime Pro.
- Test the free download on the exact computer you'll use before paying. It confirms installation and compatibility, though you can't try the AI answers without a paid plan.
- If your plans change mid-month, cancel at once so the next month isn't charged; there's nothing to gain by waiting.
If you can't cancel Interview Coder
- Billing tab won't load or shows no subscription? Check you're signed in with the email you paid with, then email abdulla@interviewcoder.com, the Customer Service contact listed in the help center, with your account email, the charge date and a clear statement that you're giving notice of non-renewal.
- Charged after cancelling? Reply to the same thread with your cancellation screenshot and the date you sent written notice.
- Keep everything until the renewal date passes with no new charge: screenshots, receipts and email replies.
The renewal clause is in section 8.1 of Interview Coder's Terms of Service.
