How to cancel Sensei AI, step by step
- Log in to the Sensei web app at app.senseicopilot.com.
- Open Settings, the page where Sensei lets you manage your account settings and preferences.
- Choose the Payments tab. It shows your Current Plan and a Subscription End field.
- Click Manage Subscription under Payment Management. Sensei says this opens the Stripe portal, where you manage your subscription, update payment methods and view billing history.
- Cancel the plan in the portal, take a screenshot once it's done, and check the Subscription End field on the Payments tab afterward.
The Payment Management section, and with it the Manage Subscription button, appears only on a paid plan. On the free plan the Payments tab shows an Upgrade Plan button instead, which tells you there's nothing to cancel.
App-store purchases
Sensei bills through its own web app using Stripe. We found no App Store or Google Play app linked from its site or web app as of October 2026, so there's no separate app-store route to describe.
What happens after you cancel Sensei AI
- Renewal stops; access continues. Sensei's refund policy says cancelling stops automatic renewal and you keep full access until the end of your current billing cycle. Its FAQ says the same.
- No money back for the current period. The FAQ is blunt: you can cancel at any time, but charges for the current billing period aren't refunded.
- The free plan. Sensei's homepage lists a $0 plan with 15-minute Copilot sessions; its FAQ says you can start as many as you need, each ending after 15 minutes. Its refund policy page still describes 10-minute free sessions. Sensei doesn't say whether a cancelled account moves to the free plan automatically.
- Your résumé and stories. Sensei's pages don't say what happens to an uploaded résumé or the stories in its AI Story Editor after you cancel. If you want them deleted, email hi@senseicopilot.com.

Sensei AI's refund policy in plain words
Sensei's homepage FAQ opens its cancellation answer with one line: "We do not offer refunds." The refund policy page in its app adds the detail:
- Monthly subscriptions: refunds are generally not provided, except under special circumstances. If you think yours qualifies, submit the Refund Request Form linked from the policy.
- Annual subscriptions: if you cancel within the first 3 days following your renewal date, you may get a partial refund. Sensei charges you for one month and refunds the remaining amount.
- How to apply: use the same Refund Request Form, with your reason and any supporting documents. If Sensei approves it, you keep full access for one month from the subscription date.
- Final say: Sensei reserves the right to make the final decision on every refund request.
Sensei doesn't say whether the one month it keeps is charged at the monthly price or the annual rate, so ask before you count on a figure. If you're on monthly billing, the practical rule is simple: cancel before the next billing date, because the current month won't be refunded.

- No Manage Subscription button? Check the Payments tab. If it shows an Upgrade Plan button, that account is on the free plan; check whether you subscribed with a different email.
