How to cancel Parakeet AI, step by step
- Go to
parakeet-ai.com, with the hyphen, which is the address its terms name, and sign in with the account you paid with. - Open your Profile page.
- Cancel the subscription there. The terms name the Profile page but not the button, so look for your active subscription on that page.
- Keep the confirmation, or a screenshot of your subscription status after cancelling.
This covers the Unlimited plan, whichever billing period you chose, and the Custom plan for prep tools, which Parakeet describes as having no lock-in. On a phone, Parakeet runs as the same web app you sign in to at parakeet-ai.com, so the steps are the same there.

Paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Parakeet accepts Apple Pay and Google Pay at its own checkout, but it doesn't sell through the App Store or Google Play: its FAQ says the native mobile app isn't available yet, and phones use the web version in a browser. So even if you paid with Apple Pay, you cancel from your Parakeet Profile page, not from your phone's subscription settings.
What happens after you cancel Parakeet AI
- You keep access until the paid period ends. The terms say you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- No further renewals are charged to your payment method.
- No partial refund for the unused part of the current billing period.
- A late renewal comes back automatically. If a renewal is collected after you cancelled, or after the subscription had already ended, the terms say it's refunded in full automatically, and it doesn't count as your one refund.
- Your credits stay. Parakeet's FAQ says credits never expire, so any credits you bought separately still work for calls and mock interviews after Unlimited ends.
Deleting your Parakeet AI account and data
Cancelling doesn't delete your account. ParakeetAI's privacy policy says you can terminate your account from your account settings, after which it deactivates or deletes the account and its information from active databases, though it may keep some records for fraud prevention and legal reasons. To ask for your personal data to be reviewed, updated or deleted, the policy points to its data subject access request form. You can also delete individual headshots, uploaded photos and a saved voice profile yourself at any time.
Parakeet AI refund policy in plain words
ParakeetAI offers a 7-day refund window for accidental or unused purchases, with these conditions as of October 2026:
- Unused means nothing used. No call session or mock interview paid with a credit or covered by a plan, no charged résumé download, no generated headshot and no Question Bank company unlocked with credits.
- Free use doesn't count. Your free trial sessions and free mock interview never use a purchase, so trying them first doesn't cost you the refund.
- No partial refunds. In the policy's words, "We don't issue partial refunds for remaining credits", or for the unused part of a plan after you cancel.
- One refund per person, not per account. A refund on another ParakeetAI account used on the same device or card counts.
- Technical problems: a purchase you've used, or bought more than 7 days ago, is refunded only if a technical issue on Parakeet's side stopped you using it, and only within 30 days of buying it. Explain what happened on the refund form.
- Referral codes: if your purchase used someone's referral code and they've spent credits since, the bonus credits they earned count as part of your purchase, so it counts as used and can't be refunded, even if you haven't used it yourself.
To ask, use the refund form in your dashboard. When the form can't refund a purchase, it tells you why. The terms say refunds go back to the original payment method, may take 5 to 10 business days, and forfeit any unused credits from that purchase.
If you can't cancel Parakeet AI

- Email support. The terms list support@parakeet-ai.com as the contact address, and the FAQ section on the homepage has a "Talk to us here" link.
- Charged after cancelling? The terms promise an automatic full refund of a renewal collected after you cancelled. If it doesn't arrive, email support with your account email and the charge date.
- Keep records of the cancellation and receipts until the renewal date has passed.
