Screening bots you may meet
Asynchronous video platforms that record timed answers, voice bots that phone you for a first screen, and chat bots that ask typed questions before a human sees your application. Large IT services firms in India run spoken AI rounds in campus drives; high-volume employers in retail, logistics and support use voice or chat screens. You do not get to choose the bot; you get to prepare for it.
Using one to prepare for the other
- Paste the job description into a practice bot and run the full set of questions aloud.
- Read the scores and the model answers; rewrite your three weakest answers in your own words.
- Repeat two days later, in the room and on the device you will use for the real screen.
- On the day, answer the screening bot alone and unaided: it is proctored, and the practice already did its job.
