Preparing for Fast Enterprises Implementation Consultant Interviews

An AI interview assistant helps with Fast Enterprises implementation consultant interviews mainly as a rehearsal partner for the behavioral interview and the relocation conversation, which together decide most offers. It should not be anywhere near the logic or aptitude component, which is an assessment with its own rules.

An AI interview assistant helps with Fast Enterprises implementation consultant interviews mainly as a rehearsal partner for the behavioral interview and the relocation conversation, which together decide most offers. It should not be anywhere near the logic or aptitude component, which is an assessment with its own rules. The assistant runs scored mock interviews from the job description and your resume, reads each question aloud and shows a model answer. Below: the process as publicly described, what the behavioral round looks for, how to answer the relocation and travel questions honestly, a practice plan, and our policy stance on the assessment.

The process as publicly described

Fast Enterprises builds and implements software for government agencies, and its implementation consultants work on site with those agencies for months or years at a time. The firm hires heavily from new graduates and early-career candidates, often starting at career fairs. Candidates describe a sequence along these lines: an application or career-fair conversation, a phone or video screen with a recruiter, a logic or aptitude assessment, a behavioral interview with one or more consultants or managers, and a frank conversation about relocation and travel before an offer. Order and format vary by site and year, and none of this is a confirmed script.

Two things stand out. The role asks for consultants who can learn a complex product and a client's rules quickly, so the behavioral round probes learning speed and client communication. And because consultants live where the project is, the relocation conversation is a real selection step, not a formality.

What the behavioral round looks for

Expect questions about learning something hard under time pressure, explaining a technical topic to a non-technical person, handling a teammate who was not pulling their weight, and a time you got something wrong with a client or customer. Structure each answer around the situation, what you did and the result, and keep it under two minutes. Our pages on behavioral interviews and business analyst interviews cover the question families; if this is your first job search, our graduate and intern guide explains how to use class projects and part-time work as evidence.

The relocation and travel conversation

Implementation consultants typically relocate to a client site in the US, Canada or abroad and may move again when the project ends. Interviewers ask directly: would you move anywhere, are there places you cannot go, how does your partner or family feel, how do you handle living somewhere new alone. Answer honestly. A candidate who says "anywhere" and then declines the first assignment costs everyone time, and the firm knows it. Prepare three questions of your own: how assignments are chosen, how long a typical first posting lasts, and what support exists when you arrive. Rehearse this conversation aloud; it is the one most graduates have never had before.

A practice plan and the assessment

Give it ten days. Days one to four: paste the implementation consultant job description and your resume into a mock interview, choose the graduate level and the behavioral mix, and run a session every other day, reading the model answers for structure. Days five to seven: rehearse the relocation conversation and your three questions aloud. Days eight to ten: a mixed session, then rest.

The logic or aptitude assessment is practice-only, and practice means the firm's own sample material or generic logic puzzles, not an assistant. Keep it closed during the assessment, whether it is timed online or taken in a room. The same applies to any round where Fast Enterprises says no outside help: follow your employer's rules, and ask the recruiter if the policy is unclear.

Where CoPilot Interview fits

CoPilot Interview is a desktop AI interview assistant for Windows 10 and 11 and macOS 12 and later, with a practice-first iPhone build on TestFlight and an Android companion in beta. For Fast Enterprises candidates it is a rehearsal partner on the free plan for the behavioral and relocation conversations, nothing more: AI mock interviews are included at no cost, and live help has no place in the assessment or in rounds where the firm prohibits it. Disclosure: CoPilot Interview is our product, so weigh what we say about it accordingly.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Fast Enterprises implementation consultant interview involve?

Candidates describe a recruiter screen, a logic or aptitude assessment, a behavioral interview with consultants or managers, and a direct conversation about relocation and travel before an offer. Format varies by site and year, and this is a general description rather than a confirmed list.

Can I use an AI interview assistant on the logic or aptitude assessment?

No. The assessment measures your own reasoning under time, and the firm sets its rules for it. Practice with Fast Enterprises' own sample material or generic logic puzzles beforehand, and keep the assistant closed while you take it, online or in a room.

How should I answer the relocation question?

Honestly and specifically. Say where you can and cannot go, who else is affected by the decision, and how you have handled moving before. Then ask how assignments are chosen and how long a first posting usually lasts. Rehearse it aloud in a mock interview so it sounds settled.

Is the free plan enough to prepare for Fast Enterprises?

Yes for most graduates. AI mock interviews are included on the free plan with no credit card, and the behavioral and relocation conversations are what you need to rehearse. Live help is rarely relevant here, so the paid plans add little for this process.
